ROTARY PISTON PUMP HAVING A SEALING CHAMBER SEAL
20190301454 · 2019-10-03 · ·

A seal assembly for sealing a pump shaft in a rotary piston pump configured for conveying pump-conveyed fluid comprises a sealing-fluid pump device having a pump inlet and a pump outlet. A blocking chamber is connected to the pump outlet and is disposed so as to neighbor the pump chamber of the rotary piston pump and is sealed in relation to the pump chamber by means of a first shaft seal that encloses the pump shaft. The blocking chamber by way of the pump outlet is impinged with a fluid pressure resulting from the fluid pressure differential that is generated by the sealing-fluid pump device, whereby said fluid pressure interacts with the first seal assembly to seal the pump chamber in relation to the egress of pump-conveyed fluid from the pump chamber along the pump shaft.

An exemplary assembly includes a housing including a flange extending from a perimeter of the housing, a cover including an edge tab extending from a perimeter of the cover, a gear set positioned between the housing and the cover, an alignment member positioned between the flange and the edge tab, the alignment member adjacent to an exterior surface of the gear set, and a ring at least partially encircling the housing, the ring including an anti-rotation member and a securing tab. The edge tab and the alignment member are enclosed by the anti-rotation member to maintain a radial position of the gear set.

Gear pump or motor with communication paths to suction and discharge in closed space between the drive and driven gears

A gear pump or a gear motor in which a tooth groove is easily filled with a liquid. A gear pump includes a casing, a gear storage chamber, a suction passage, a discharge passage, a gear that is housed in the gear storage chamber and including a drive gear and a driven gear that rotate while meshing with each other, and a suction-side communication path that connects a first space and a tooth groove of the gear, the first space being a closed space formed by the drive gear and the driven gear meshing with each other, the tooth groove being opened to the suction passage.

Pressure pockets on the hollow wheel

A rotary pump includes a housing featuring a delivery space which the housing surrounds and axially delineates on the end sides; an inner rotor rotatable in the delivery space; an outer rotor rotatable about a pump rotational axis in the delivery space and forming delivery cells with the inner rotor; and a circumferential bearing wall which mounts and surrounds the outer rotor rotatably about the pump rotation axis in radial sliding contact. The circumferential bearing wall includes multiple blind pockets which are radially open towards the outer rotor and/or the outer rotor includes multiple blind pockets which are radially open towards the circumferential bearing wall.

Geared hydraulic machine and relative gear wheel

A gear wheel for gear pumps/motors including a plurality of asymmetrical teeth, each tooth including a driving side with a convex shape and mating with a corresponding convex side of a counter-wheel and a discharge side defined, in most of its length, as a cavity of a convex profile. The discharge side is configured so that the radius passing through a tip of the teeth is substantially at least tangent to the discharge side, or intersects the discharge side.

A bearing block adapted for use in a gear pump assembly. The bearing block includes a bearing surface configured to face one or more gears. The bearing block further includes a bearing block body formed with a recess. The bearing block further includes an insert located within the recess. The insert includes an insert body including an outer surface. The insert body has a tapered shape that tapers outwardly from the bearing surface. The insert further includes a plurality of ridges disposed on the outer surface. The plurality of ridges defines one or more grooves therebetween. The recess includes a tapered shape complementary to the tapered shape of the insert body, such that the insert body engages with the bearing block body.

Rotary Pump with Rotor Bearing Cap

Lobe pumps have bearing discs or caps which can be located at least partially in at least one of cover plates and rotors, if not both to provide at least thrust bearings to space the rotors from the cover plates while facilitating the possibility of clean in place operations. Many embodiments have bearing discs on the rotors which do not restrict axial movement on the shaft, but prevent pumped material from contacting the shaft, and many embodiments have bearing discs friction fit in bearing cutouts and bores (through the rotor and/or cover plate) to facilitate removal when disassembled.

ELECTRIC LIQUID PUMP

An electric liquid pump has a motor, a liquid pump including an inner rotor having an external tooth and integrated with an axial end of a shaft of the motor and an outer rotor having an internal tooth meshing with the external tooth and forming a gap into which a liquid is suctioned and from which the liquid is discharged, a motor case having a box shape and including therein a first accommodation chamber, a second accommodation chamber, and a partition wall allowing the first and second accommodation chambers to communicate with each other, and a body including a centering body portion, a general body portion, and a bearing portion formed to penetrate the centering body portion and the general body portion. Each of the inner rotor, the outer rotor, and the body is made of a thermosetting resin, and the magnet portion is a bonded magnet.
