A compressor includes a casing, an electric motor housed in the casing, and a compression mechanism driven by the electric motor. The compression mechanism discharges a gas compressed to an internal space of the casing. The gas discharged from the compression mechanism forms a gas flow that flows in a predetermined direction in the internal space of the casing. A component having a facing surface that faces against the gas flow is arranged in the internal space of the casing. The component is provided with a blocking part configured to block a flow of oil deposited on the facing surface due to a collision of the gas flow.

CENTRIFUGAL REFRIGERANT VAPOUR COMPRESSORS

A centrifugal compressor for compressing a refrigerant vapour in a refrigeration cycle. The compressor comprises an impeller drive shaft supported by first and second radial bearings for rotation within the compressor housing and an impeller assembly including at least one centrifugal impeller wheel mounted on the impeller drive shaft to rotate with the impeller drive shaft. The first and second radial bearings are hydrodynamic fluid bearings in which the bearing fluid is the refrigerant vapour. The compressor further comprises a conduit for supplying a portion of the refrigerant vapour from the impeller assembly to the first and second fluid bearings.

Heat engine system for power and heat production

A heat engine system comprises a first heat exchanger, an expander, a second heat exchanger and a valve assembly. The first heat exchanger is in fluid communication with a heat source for heating a working fluid therein. The expander is downstream the first heat exchanger and is in fluid communication therewith for receiving the heat working fluid. The second heat exchanger is downstream the expander and in fluid communication therewith for cooling down the working fluid received therefrom. The valve assembly is in fluid communication with the second heat exchanger and the expander for providing for selectively injecting the expander with cooled working fluid from the second heat exchanger.

Scroll Compressor With Oil Management System

A compressor is provided and may include a shell, a main bearing housing disposed within the shell, a driveshaft, a non-orbiting scroll member, and an orbiting scroll member. The driveshaft may be supported by the main bearing housing. The non-orbiting scroll member may be coupled to the main bearing housing and may include a first lubricant supply path in fluid communication with a lubricant source. The orbiting scroll member may be rotatably coupled to the driveshaft and may be meshingly engaged with the non-orbiting scroll member. The orbiting scroll member may include a recess that is moved between a first position in fluid communication with the first lubricant supply path and a second position fluidly isolated from the first lubricant supply path.

ROTOR ASSEMBLY FOR ROTARY COMPRESSOR
20180291898 · 2018-10-11 ·

A compressor having a rotor assembly within which a rotor is rotated on an eccentric shaft in a sealed chamber. Two or more intake ports are provided that open into the sealed chamber and two or more exhaust ports are provided with one way valves, to permit compressed gas to exit the sealed chamber. The geometry of the rotor and sealed chamber and eccentric drive are such that apices of the rotor remain in contact with a peripheral wall of the sealed chamber as the rotor rotates and apex seals are provided on the apices of the rotor to prevent leakage of the gas around the apices of the rotor. In a preferred embodiment the rotor is a multi-lobed rotor orbiting within a trochoidal chamber.

Scroll compressor

Provided is a scroll compressor, comprising a compression mechanism and a valve assembly. The compression mechanism is provided with a vent, and the valve assembly is used for selectively opening and closing the vent. The valve assembly comprises a valve plate and at least one valve piece. The valve plate comprises at least one valve orifice; and the valve piece is configured to selectively open and close the valve orifice. The scroll compressor further comprises a guide passageway. The guide passageway is provided with a first port communicating with the valve orifice and a second port communicating with the exhaust opening. The valve assembly and the compressor can significantly prolong the service life of the valve piece, and can provide good guidance for a fluid discharged from the compression mechanism, thereby significantly reducing the resistance of venting and the fluid pressure drop, and improving the effect of venting.
