UNIVERSAL PUMP BRACKET

One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a universal-type bracket that incorporates a substantially uniform diameter through-bore. This allows the bracket to accept current sealing arrangements used in these types of pumps, while providing the same or better sealing options as current individual designs. The single through-bore can have multiple undercut features for holding a pump shaft bushing, with an increased wall thickness to allow for an appropriate interference fit with the walls of the through-bore, for example, similar to previous designs. Retaining ring grooves can be added to the through-bore, and retaining rings may be used to provide a positive shoulder for the seal or packing rings to seat against inside the bore. This may allow for various sealing options, such as stuffing seals, one-piece barrier seals, cartridge seals, BTR seals, component seals, and more.

Electric pump

An electric pump includes a housing that includes a gear chamber, a rotor chamber, and a motor chamber. The electric pump includes a first seal member, a second seal member, and a third seal member. The first seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The second seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The third seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber. The third seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber to a lesser extent than the first seal member and the second seal member seal the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber.

Liquid cooling of a scroll type compressor with liquid supply through the crankshaft

Scroll devices with cooling fluid supplied through a crankshaft are provided. The device may comprise an orbiting scroll operably connected to a fixed scroll and a crankshaft operably connected to the orbiting scroll. A first seal may be positioned about an outer surface of the crankshaft to form a seal with the outer surface. A second seal may be positioned about an outer surface of the crankshaft to form a seal with the outer surface. A first channel and a second channel extend through the crankshaft and are in fluid communication with the orbiting scroll and a fluid source and a fluid reservoir.

PUMP SEALING

A pump assembly may include a rotor having a rotor shaft portion; a stator having a bore portion defining a bore for receiving the rotor shaft portion; and a circumferential protrusion extending radially into the bore between the bore portion and the rotor shaft portion, wherein at least one of the protrusion and a corresponding surface of the rotor shaft portion or the bore portion is configured to be abraded by the other upon experiencing contact therewith. In this way, the gap between the bore portion and the rotor shaft portion may be at least partially filled by the circumferential protrusion in order to provide a seal. The protrusion and one of the bore portion and the rotor shaft portion may be formed from different hardness materials.

CO-ROTATING SCROLL COMPRESSOR AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

A scroll accommodation portion (3b) for accommodating a driving-side scroll member (70), a driven-side scroll member (90), a first support member (33), and a second support member (35) is provided. The first driving-side scroll portion (71) and a second driving-side scroll portion (72) are fixed by a wall fixing bolt (31). The driven-side scroll member (90) and the second support member (35) are fixed by a second support fixing bolt (36). The scroll accommodation portion (3b) is formed with an access hole (3b1) accessible to the wall fixing bolt (31) and the second support fixing bolt (36).

SCROLL COMPRESSOR

A scroll compressor includes scroll members that include a compression chamber to compress working fluid, a housing that houses the scroll members, a second driving-side shaft portion that discharges the compressed working fluid from the compression chamber and is rotated around an axis with respect to a second driving-side shaft portion accommodation portion of the housing, and a seal member that is fixed to an outer periphery of the second driving-side shaft portion and comes into contact with an inner peripheral surface of the second driving-side shaft portion accommodation portion for sealing. The second driving-side shaft portion accommodation portion includes a wear resistant portion on the inner peripheral surface coming into contact with the seal member.

Mechanical seal for rotating shaft
10487844 · 2019-11-26 · ·

In a mechanical seal, a stationary-side seal ring (20) is disposed on the high-pressure fluid side of a rotating-side seal ring (21), and fixed to a housing (1) and has sliding surfaces (20a), (20c), and (20d) supporting a rotating shaft (2) in both a radial direction and a thrust direction. The rotating-side seal ring (21) is axially movably fitted by a bellows (25) fitted on the rotating shaft (2). The rotating shaft (2) has an outer peripheral surface (2a) contacting and sliding on the radial sliding surface (20a) of the stationary-side seal ring (20) to be supported radially. Thrust rings (10a) and (10b) are provided between the stationary-side seal ring (20) and the rotating shaft (2), for supporting the rotating shaft (2) in thrust directions. The mechanical seal can eliminate the need for an additional bearing and provide stable performance as a bearing.

SCROLL COMPRESSOR

The scroll compressor includes scroll members that include a compression chamber to compress working fluid, a housing that houses the scroll members, a second driving-side shaft portion that discharges the compressed working fluid from the compression chamber and is rotated around an axis with respect to the housing, a bearing that rotatably supports the housing with respect to the second driving-side shaft portion , and a seal member between the second driving-side shaft portion and the housing . A lubricant is provided between the bearing and the seal member.

Vacuum pump and system of a vacuum pump and an engine
10480465 · 2019-11-19 · ·

A vacuum pump suitable for mounting to an engine includes a casing, a cavity in the casing having with an inlet and an outlet, a moveable member arranged for rotation inside the cavity, wherein the movable member is movable to draw fluid into the cavity through the inlet and out of the cavity through the outlet so as to induce a reduction in pressure at the inlet, an oil supply conduit for supplying oil from a reservoir to the cavity, and a check valve having a check valve body arranged in the oil supply conduit. The check valve meters the oil flow to the cavity dependent on an oil pressure so that on exceeding an upper oil pressure threshold the supply of oil to the cavity is stopped by means of the check valve.
