SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor may include a suction guide between a refrigerant suction pipe and a high/low pressure separation plate, and the suction guide may be fastened to a non-orbiting scroll or inserted into a suction guide protrusion that extends from the non-orbiting scroll. Accordingly, suction refrigerant may be partially suctioned into a compression chamber by the suction guide in advance before moving to the high/low pressure separation plate, so as to be prevented from coming into contact with the high/low pressure separation plate, while the suction refrigerant may also partially flow toward a drive motor without being suctioned directly into the compression chamber, so as to cool the drive motor, whereby efficiency of the compressor may be improved and an operation range of the compressor may be expanded.
Co-Rotating Compressor
A compressor includes a compression mechanism, a driveshaft, and a motor. The compression mechanism is configured to compress a fluid to a discharge pressure. The motor is configured to rotate the driveshaft. The driveshaft is engaged with the compression mechanism and is fixed to rotate with at least a portion of the compression mechanism. The driveshaft includes a longitudinal aperture configured to receive the fluid at a suction pressure, and includes a flange that receives at least a portion of the compression mechanism. The flange and the compression mechanism define a fluid passage therebetween. The fluid at suction pressure is received within the fluid passage from the longitudinal aperture in the driveshaft.
Screw compressor
Screw compressor with a compression chamber that is formed by a compression housing, in which a pair of meshed helical compressor rotors in the form of a screw are rotatably mounted and with a drive motor that is provided with a motor chamber formed by a motor housing, in which a motor shaft is rotatably mounted, and this motor shaft drives at least one of the aforementioned two compressor rotors, whereby the compression housing and the motor housing are connected directly together to form a compressor housing, whereby the motor chamber and the compression chamber are not sealed off from one another and whereby the rotor shafts of the compressor rotors, as well as the motor shaft, extend along axial directions that are oblique or transverse to the horizontal plane.
Compressor crankcase heating control systems and methods
A crankcase heating control system for a heat pump system includes a data receiving module and a power control module. The data receiving module receives data indicative of a temperature of a compressor of the heat pump system, data indicative of an ambient temperature, and data indicative of a current date and a current time. The power control module selectively applies power to a heater of a crankcase of the compressor and selectively disables the heater based on the temperature of the compressor, the ambient temperature, the current date, and the current time.
Oil-free water-injected screw air compressor
An oil-free water-injected screw air compressor comprises a housing that encloses two rotors for generating compressed air, and an air water separator for separating the water from the compressed air. Water injection can effectively cool a compressor, and some embodiments provide a sealing system for isolation of compressor bearing lubricant from water used for cooling.
Drive shaft connector with counterweight and blades for cooling pump motor
A fluid pump includes a pump head and a motor coupled by a drive shaft. The pump head includes a pump inlet, a pump outlet, and a pumping stage in which a movable pump element is driven by the drive shaft. The motor includes a motor rotor and a motor stator. A connector couples the motor rotor and the drive shaft. The connector includes a plate rotatable with the drive shaft, fan blades attached to the plate for establishing a flow of air for cooling the motor, and one or more counterweights attached to the plate for reducing or eliminating imbalance created by certain forces generated by the pump during operation.
Motor-Integrated Fluid Machine
Provided is a motor-integrated fluid machine that has improved performance and reliability by efficiently cooling a fluid machine body and a motor without increasing an installation space. The present invention is characterized by being provided with: a fluid machine unit that compresses or expands a fluid; a motor unit that has a drive shaft connected to the fluid machine unit; and a cooling fan that cools the motor unit and the fluid machine unit by sucking cooling air from the motor unit side and that is connected to the drive shaft at the side opposed to that connected to the fluid machine unit, wherein between the motor unit and the cooling fan, the minimum sectional area of a cooling air passage from the outside in the radial direction toward the drive shaft is larger than that of a cooling air passage from the motor unit side toward the cooling fan.
SCREW SPINDLE PUMP
A screw spindle pump having a spindle housing in which a drive spindle and at least one running spindle meshing therewith are received in spindle bores, and an external housing which accommodates the spindle housing, an axial inlet connection and a radial outlet connection being provided on the external housing. The spindle housing has an axial fluid outlet for the fluid conveyed via the drive spindle and the running spindle through the spindle housing, as well as a drive motor having a drive shaft which runs through a bore in a housing wall, which axially closes the interior of the external housing, io and which is coupled to the drive spindle. A part of the fluid flowing out of the fluid outlet of the spindle housing flows through the seal-free bore along the drive shaft into the drive motor, cools this drive motor and flows back into the external housing.
THERMISTOR FLOW PATH
A fluid pump includes a pump element in communication with an inlet and an outlet. Rotation of the pump element generates a suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet. The suction and pressure cooperate to move a fluid through a fluid path. An accessory fluid path is in communication with the inlet and outlet. The accessory fluid path includes a thermistor in communication with the accessory fluid path. The thermistor monitors a temperature of the fluid within the accessory fluid path.
