A drive module for a skateboard, the drive module comprising at least one axle with at least one wheel which is or can be driven by an electric motor, and a frame, which is connected to the axle and has a receiving space for an energy storage unit, in particular for a secondary battery, the drive module being replaceably connectible to the skateboard. An inline skate includes a front wheel mount secured to a bottom of a skate boot; a front wheel rotatably secured to the front wheel mount; a rear wheel mount secured to the bottom of the skate boot; a rear wheel rotatably secured to the rear wheel mount; and a shock absorber disposed between the front wheel mount and the rear wheel mount and including two sets of a positioning member secured to the skate boot; a threaded adjustment member disposed through either the rear or front wheel mount; a first bifurcation element through a biasing member and having one end secured to the adjustment member and the other two ends secured to the biasing member; and a second bifurcation element through the biasing member and having one end secured to the positioning member and the other two ends secured to the biasing member.

An edge protector for a sports board in the form of a bead of a resilient material having a cross-section comprising a central portion and, extending therefrom in one direction, a tapering impact-absorbing section and, extending from the central portion in the opposing direction, a pair of convergent leg sections for engaging an edge of the board. The central portion and the impact-absorbing section together form a triangular cross-section, which is particularly suited to receiving and dissipating an impact. The triangular section can be a hollow triangular section to reduce weight and tailor the impact response. One leg of the pair extends beyond the other leg to case fitting. The bead is preferably formed by extrusion; silicone with a Shore A hardness of between 62 and 68 provides an ideal resilient material.

A backpack has a folding durable panel attached to the back side thereof. The panel is configured to wrap around a middle portion of a skateboard deck, such that the trucks and wheels positioned away from the back of the wearer. The skateboard is secured to the backpack by an attachment means attached to the ends of the fabric panel.

The invention relates to a cover or case for goods, in particular for use as a cover or case for hobby or sports equipment. In an embodiment, the case has an inner portion, formed of expanded polypropylene (ePP) and defining a cavity for receiving at least part of the item. The case also includes an outer layer, formed of self-reinforcing polypropylene (srPP), arranged to cover an outer surface of at least part of the inner portion. In further embodiments, the cover is formed of two or more sections that may be arranged to at least partially overlap, wherein adjusting the overlap of the at least two sections changes the dimensions of an inner cavity within the cover or case. The case may be telescoping, in order to provide adjustable dimensions for a cavity within the case.

An improvement to a traditional skateboard or traditional longboard with the addition of an attached, low-lying handlebar and riding methods. A traditional skateboard or traditional longboard limits riding positions or choices amid a standing position being standard riding practice. Although some riders attempt other riding positions, such as squatting, these unconventional riding positions are not technically pursuant to the current design, purpose, proper usage or intended use of a traditional skateboard or traditional longboard. These unconventional practices restrict board control and therefore increase the risk of injuries overall. The purpose of this improvement is to present the rider of a traditional skateboard or traditional longboard flexibility to implement different riding positions. With the attachment of a low-lying handlebar, the traditional skateboard or traditional longboard ultimately becomes a hybrid board allowing to ride kneeling or squatted. Additionally, there is an increase of board control and safety while in alternate riding positions.

An inline skate includes a front wheel mount secured to a bottom of a skate boot; a front wheel rotatably secured to the front wheel mount; a rear wheel mount secured to the bottom of the skate boot; a rear wheel rotatably secured to the rear wheel mount; and a shock absorber disposed between the front wheel mount and the rear wheel mount and including two sets of a positioning member secured to the skate boot; a threaded adjustment member disposed through either the rear or front wheel mount; a first bifurcation element through a biasing member and having one end secured to the adjustment member and the other two ends secured to the biasing member; and a second bifurcation element through the biasing member and having one end secured to the positioning member and the other two ends secured to the biasing member.

A truck assembly for a skateboard includes a single rotating sphere for allowing free movement of the skateboard in a 360 direction. A hanger having a pair of side flat circular bases are provided to receive a wheel assembly having the single rotating sphere facing the ground. The wheel assembly includes a screw element to removable engage a hole provided on the side flat circular base and a fixing element is also provided to prevent the wheel assembly to move around the screw element. The wheel arrangement and the truck assembly of the invention allow a skater to easily interchange the truck assembly without modifying or altering the existing skateboard.

The skateboard includes a skateboard deck, a truck, and a riser coupled between the skateboard deck and the truck. The riser includes a camera assembly and a digital video recorder.
