In an aspect, a tire for use with a single wheel, self-balancing vehicle is provided. The tire has a tire body with a tread configured for engagement with a ground surface. The tread has a lateral profile having a central region, a first lateral region tapering towards a first lateral side of the tire, and a second lateral region tapering towards a second lateral side of the tire. The lateral profile is substantially free of discontinuity. The tread has a non-directional tread groove arrangement that is asymmetrical about a central circumference line of the tire. The tire has a hardness selected to substantially prevent deformation of the first profile and the second profile during riding by a rider.

Concave side rails for one-wheeled vehicles

A one-wheeled vehicle may comprise a board including first and second deck portions each configured to receive a left or right foot of a rider oriented generally perpendicular to a direction of travel of a board, and a pair of side rails, each of which are coupled to the first and second deck portions at distal ends. A top surface of each side rail defines a generally concave shape, such that a plane connecting distal edges of the end portions of the side rail is spaced apart from the central portion of the side rail. In some examples, a bottom surface of each side rail also defines a generally concave-upward shape. In some examples, a bottom surface of each side rail includes a central cutout.

SKATEBOARD AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The disclosure relates to a skateboard and control method thereof. A skateboard deck is fixed on an axle of the skateboard, and a first sensor group and a second sensor group are sequentially arranged on the skateboard deck in a width direction. The method includes acquiring a first pressure value of the first sensor group and a second pressure value of the second sensor group; controlling the skateboard to turn to a first direction when the first pressure value is greater than the second pressure value and a difference value between the first pressure value and the second pressure value is greater than a first threshold, and controlling the skateboard to turn to a second direction when the second pressure value is greater than the first pressure value and a difference value between the second pressure value and the first pressure value is greater than a second threshold.

Driving mode changeable mobility device

A mobility device is provided and includes a base panel that supports a passenger. A plurality of wheels are disposed at a plurality of points of the base panel and are coupled to the base panel to be rotated with respect to a vertical axis. A rotary portion provides a rotational force to rotate the wheel with respect to the base panel. Additionally, a braking portion is disposed on the rotary portion to adjust the plurality of wheels to be rotated with respect to the base panel or positions of the plurality of wheels to be fixed.
