A water pump for a marine engine includes a cap covering an internal cavity of the pump's housing when the pump is operating. The cap functions as a tool to remove a damaged or worn impeller from inside the internal cavity. A threaded hub of the cap engages internal threads of the impeller to assist a user in removing the impeller for replacement. A cap lock ring threaded onto the pump housing retains the cap over the internal cavity. A rotatable drive shaft has splines which mate with a splined portion of the impeller to rotate the impeller. The cap lock ring is disengaged from the housing and the cap removed to enable a person to use the threaded hub of the cap to remove the impeller.

The present invention relates to improvements in the area of flexible impeller pumps. In particular, the present invention relates to flexible impellers with improved profiles (such as dual sealing lips), which are particularly well-suited to multiple cam pumps. A novel mounting hub configuration for mounting an impeller on a drive shaft is also provided. Pumps comprising such impellers and/or mounting hubs are provided, as are associated methods of installation and removal.

Electric pump apparatus

A motor-driven apparatus includes a pump and a servo motor connected respectively to outer sides of opposed upstanding support plates. A pump shaft and a servo motor shaft extend horizontally toward each other into a space between the support plates and are coupled together by a flexible coupling. The servo motor includes a fan cover enclosing and spaced from a motor frame of the servo motor. A cooling fan disposed inside the fan cover circulates air in the space between the fan cover and the motor frame to air-cool the motor frame.

An attachment structure is for attaching a compressor to an attachment surface of an attachment target member. The compressor is a scroll type compressor and has a housing, a fixed scroll and a movable scroll. The housing is fixed to the attachment surface. The fixed scroll is fixed inside the housing and has a fixed-side tooth having a scroll shape. The movable scroll has a movable-side tooth having a scroll shape and engaging with the fixed-side tooth. The movable scroll revolves with respect to the fixed scroll. A central axis around which the movable scroll revolves is parallel with the attachment surface. A vibration direction, which is included in a radial direction of the compressor and in which a vibration component becomes largest, is different from a normal direction when viewed in an axial direction of the central axis.

Each stator segment includes a front surface, a rear surface, and an internal helical cavity extending longitudinally from the front surface to the rear surface. Each stator segment also includes a set of bolt holes extending longitudinally from the front surface to the rear surface, and a set of connection holes opening at the front surface and extending at least partially longitudinally from the front surface to the rear surface. Bolts, inserted through the bolt holes into connection holes of an adjacent stator segment, connect the stator segments and align the internal helical cavities to form a continuous helical chamber.

A rotary positive displacement pump includes a main body rotationally supporting two parallel, axially extending, shafts with gears in constant mesh condition, such that the shafts rotate in opposite directions. A rotor case body is connected to a front side of the main body and has a stationary interior pumping cavity, fluid product inlet and outlet openings, and two cylindrical rotor case hubs each receiving internally one of the shafts. A pair of rotors each have a rotor wing and a rotor drive element that is mounted torque proof on a rotor seat at an end region of one of the shafts. Each rotor seat pair has an axial abutment surface and a mounting surface. The pump also includes fasteners each engaging a mating section of one of the shafts and exerting an axial clamping force on one of the rotor drive elements against one of the axial abutment surfaces.

The invention relates to a screw spindle pump, with a housing (2) which surrounds a delivery chamber (5), two spindles (7, 8), namely a drive spindle (7) and an opposed running spindle (8), a housing insert (6) which is arranged in the housing (2) and in which the spindles (7, 8) are accommodated, at least one bearing element (13, 13), which is connected to the housing insert (6) and on which bearings (12) of the spindles (7, 8) are arranged, and with at least one housing cover (14, 14), closing a housing opening. It is the object of the invention to provide a screw spindle pump at which maintenance and inspection work can be carried out more simply and cost-effectively. The invention achieves this object in that the bearing element (13, 13) together with the housing insert (6) and the spindles (7, 8) accommodated therein forms a unit (15) which, after the housing cover (14, 14) is taken off, is removable from the housing (2) through the housing opening.
