Fan, motor driving assembly and load connecting mechanism thereof

A load connecting mechanism includes a mounting portion, a contact portion, and a force-exerting portion. The mounting portion is configured to mount the load connecting mechanism to a power source and a load, respectively. The contact portion is disposed on the mounting portion and includes two slidably coupled contact faces. The force-exerting portion is configured to provide a force to the contact faces in an axial direction of the power source to make the contact faces closely slidably couple to each other. Through the slidable coupling relationship between the contact faces, power of the power source is progressively transmitted to the load and finally drives the load to rotate in synchronization with the power source. The present invention further provides a motor driving assembly and a fan. The mechanism can satisfy the needs of bidirectional rotation of a load such as a fan and of large startup torque.

A retrofittable control system for controlling an engine and a clutch of a frost fan may include a data processing system, a thermostat, a human machine interface, a throttle control module, and/or a clutch control module. The control system may be configured to automatically start the fan when the thermostat detects a temperature below a user defined turn-on temperature, and to automatically shut down and park the fan when the thermostat detects a temperature above a user defined turn-off temperature. In some examples, starting up the fan may include running a clutch engagement sequence that engages the clutch at different speeds for different durations.

Motorcycle supercharger

An impeller for pressurizing an intake air of an engine is provided on a left side end portion in a supercharger rotary shaft of the supercharger. The power from the engine is transmitted to a second sprocket, which is provided on a right side end portion of an input shaft of a speed increaser, through a chain to thereby allow the supercharger to drive. The second sprocket is removably fitted to the input shaft by means of a bolt. The supercharger rotary shaft, the input shaft, the second sprocket and the bolt are all accommodated in a supercharger casing. The supercharger casing has a right side end face formed with an access opening through which access can be made to the second sprocket and the bolt from an axial direction.

System and Method Involving a Variable Speed Cooling Fan Used With a Compressor and an Internal Combustion Engine

A system and method of a variable speed cooling fan for a skid mounted compressor. A magnetic variable speed clutch is mounted to the cooling fan drive shaft. The clutch mechanism is driven via by a drive pulley on the crankshaft of the engine driving the compressor. The speed of the fan is varied dependent upon the temperature of the fluids being cooled.

Omnirise hydromag “variable speed magnetic coupling system for subsea pumps”

A unique low cost and efficient submersible, hermetically sealed, variable speed system intended to drive submersible boosting units. The system includes a unique combination of a liquid filled electrical motor connected to a hydraulic coupling and a magnetic coupling driver section, in a hermetically sealed container, with a magnetic coupling follower driving a booster unit. The system further includes integrated cooling, lubrication and control functionality. The drive unit has an actuating system connected to internal guide vanes which controls the liquid flow between the pump impeller and turbine wheel of the hydrodynamic coupling and hence the torque and speed. The combined system is a sealed seal-less and topside-less submersible drive unit that can operate in harsh subsea environments. The drive unit opens up for use of thin walled pressure casings and low pressure electrical penetrators.

Fluid driving device, motor assembly and centrifugal friction clutch thereof

A blower, a motor assembly and a centrifugal friction clutch thereof are provided. The centrifugal friction clutch includes: a fixing member for being fixed on a rotary shaft and comprising a guiding groove disposed in a radial direction of the fixing member and passing through an outer circumferential surface of the fixing member; a centrifugal block disposed in the guiding groove and slidable in the guiding groove; and a loading wheel having an inner hole in which the fixing member is received. A gap between a wall of the inner hole and the outer circumferential surface of the fixing member is less than a length of the centrifugal block along its sliding direction. The centrifugal friction clutch reduces vibrations at startup of the motor, thereby effectively reducing the vibrational noise. In addition, this also avoids the startup failure of the motor and effectively improves the startup performance of the motor.
