ENERGY FLOW OF AN ADVANCED ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM
An airplane is provided. The airplane includes a compressing device. The compressing device includes a turbine with a first inlet and a second inlet. The turbine provides energy by expanding mediums. The first inlet is configured to receive a first medium of the mediums. The second inlet is configured to receive a second medium of the mediums. The compressing device includes a compressor and a motor. The compressor receives a first energy derived from the first and second mediums being expanded across the turbine during a first mode of the compressing device, receives a second energy derived from the first medium being expanded across the turbine during a second mode of the compressing device, and compresses the second medium in accordance with the first mode or the second mode. The motor provides a supplementary energy to the compressor
MIXING BLEED AND RAM AIR USING A TWO TURBINE ARCHITECTURE WITH AN OUTFLOW HEAT EXCHANGER
An airplane is provided. The airplane includes a first medium at a first pressure, a second medium at a second pressure, a third medium at a third pressure; and an air conditioning system. The air conditioning system includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger configured to transfer heat from the first medium to the third medium, a second heat exchanger configured to reject heat from the first medium, a third heat exchanger configured to reject heat from the second medium, a first turbine configured to receive the first medium, and a second turbine configured to receive the second medium.
MIXING RAM AND BLEED AIR IN A DUAL ENTRY TURBINE SYSTEM
An air cycle machine is provided. The air cycle machine can be included an environmental control system of an aircraft. The air cycle machine can include a turbine comprising a plurality of inlet gas flow paths, a compressor driven by the turbine from a shaft, and a fan driven by the turbine from the shaft.
TURBOCHARGER ENGINE
A turbocharger engine includes a dual stage turbocharger in which a first turbo unit is disposed on the upstream side of a second turbo unit on an exhaust passage. The turbocharger is disposed in such a manner that a second turbine shaft of the second turbo unit is far from an engine output shaft than a first turbine shaft of the first turbo unit in a plan view in an axis direction of a cylinder. Further, a second turbine is rotated clockwise around an axis thereof in a side view when the turbocharger is viewed from the side of the turbine, and an intra-turbine passage is disposed on the side of an engine body than the second turbine shaft.

Power Supply Using an Electric Fan to Generate Wind Power
A power supply includes a housing receiving an electric motor, first and second fans, a generator, and a power device. The generator is concentrically mounted around the electric motor. When the electric motor is supplied with electricity from the power device and operates, a shaft of the electric motor drives the first fan to rotate, generating wind power close to the second fan. The second fan is rotated by the wind power in the housing and drives the second rotor and the second rotor seat to rotate. The first and second magnets create repulsive and attractive forces to provide inertia driving the second rotor seat, making the generator continuously supply electricity to the power device and the electric motor, thereby keeping the electric motor running to generate the wind power while the first fan continuously using the wind power to drive the second fan and the generator to generate electricity.

Turbocharger
A turbocharger includes a turbine housing, a compressor housing, and a bearing housing. Each of the housings includes a passage for cooling inside. The turbocharger further includes a switching valve and a controller that switches a valve position of the switching valve. The switching valve is adapted to switch the circulation state of coolant in each passage such that the coolant is supplied from the passage of the turbine housing to the passage of the bearing housing or such that the coolant is supplied from another passage to the passage of the bearing housing. The controller switches the valve position of the switching valve such that the coolant is supplied from the passage of the turbine housing to the passage of the bearing housing until a predetermined amount of time passes after starting of the engine.

IMPELLER AND ROTARY MACHINE
This impeller is provided with: an impeller body having a disk-like shape and rotating about an axis together with a rotating shaft; and compressor blades (25) provided so as to protrude from the hub surface (31b) of the impeller body, the hub surface (31b) being formed on the front surface side of the impeller body, the compressor blades (25) each having a pair of side surfaces (26) which faces the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft and along which fluid flows. Each of the compressor blades (25) is formed in a tapered shape so that, within a range in which stress in the direction of the axis of at least the rotating shaft is maximum, the pair of side surfaces (26), when viewed in a cross-section perpendicular to the axis, approach each other as the pair of side surfaces (26) extends radially outward of the rotating shaft.
