Regenerative blower
In accordance with one aspect the present invention may comprise a regenerative blower comprising: a housing, a first port and second port in the housing, an airflow channel extending between the first and second ports for airflow between the ports, an impeller rotatable in an impeller channel to promote airflow in the airflow channel from the first port to the second port, a motor to drive the impeller, and an interrupter between the first and second ports to limit airflow from the second port to the first port.
Side-channel machine (compressor, vacuum pump or blower) having an extraction duct in the stripper
The invention relates to a side-channel machine having a housing, located in the housing a side-channel for guiding a gas, and at least one gas inlet opening which is formed in the housing and is fluidically connected to the side-channel. Furthermore, the side-channel machine has at least one gas inlet pipe which connects to the at least one gas inlet opening. The side-channel machine further comprises at least one gas outlet opening and at least one gas outlet pipe which connects to the at least one gas outlet opening. Furthermore, the side-channel machine has an impeller that can be made to rotate in the housing, with impeller blades, which bound impeller cells arranged in the side-channel, for delivering the gas in the impeller cells from the at least one gas inlet opening to the at least one gas outlet opening. The side-channel machine further has at least one interrupter arranged between the at least one gas inlet opening and the at least one gas outlet opening.
Fluid pump
A fluid pump includes a fluid pump inlet and a fluid pump outlet. A motor includes an armature and a stator such that the armature rotates about an axis. A pump section includes a pump section having a pumping element coupled to the armature such that rotation of the armature rotates the pumping element such that the pumping element pumps fluid from the fluid inlet to a pump section outlet of the pump section. A fluid passage within the fluid pump provides fluid communication from the pump section outlet to the fluid pump outlet such that the fluid passage is radially between the armature and the stator. The armature includes a surface of which faces toward the pump section and includes a plurality of recesses extending thereinto.
Vortex pump
A vortex pump including: a housing including a suction channel, a discharge channel, and a housing space communicating with the suction channel and the discharge channel; and an impeller housed in the housing space and configured to rotate about a rotation axis, where the housing includes an inner channel along an outer circumference of the impeller in the housing space, and a channel cross-sectional area of the inner channel is larger than a channel cross-sectional area of the suction channel and is larger than a channel cross-sectional area of the discharge channel over an entire length of the inner channel.
Vortex pump
An impeller may include a plurality of blades disposed along a rotation direction in an outer circumferential portion of at least one end surface of two end surfaces of the impeller; a plurality of blade grooves; and an outer circumferential wall disposed at an outer circumferential edge and closing the plurality of grooves. The housing may include an opposing groove opposing a blade groove region and extending along the rotation direction of the impeller. In a plan view of the one end surface of the two end surfaces of the impeller, each of the plurality of the blades may be curved, and a central portion of each of the blades may be positioned frontward in the rotation direction of the impeller than both ends of the blade.
FUEL PUMP
A fuel pump includes an output shaft of a motor and an impeller configured to rotate integrally with the output shaft. An outer periphery of the output shaft includes a first flat portion for engaging with the impeller. The impeller includes a through hole at a center thereof, the through hole being larger than an outer diameter of the output shaft and including a second flat portion for engaging with the output shaft. In this fuel pump, when the output shaft and the impeller are arranged coaxially, spots exist which have different lengths of a gap between the first flat portion and the second flat portion in a rotational axis direction of the output shaft.
Fluid pump with flow impedance member
A fluid pump includes an inlet for introducing fluid into the fluid pump and an outlet for discharging the fluid from the fluid pump. A motor is included having an armature which rotates about an axis. The motor also has a stator which circumferentially surrounds the armature such that a fluid passage is defined radially between the armature and stator through which the fluid flows from the inlet to the outlet. A pumping arrangement is rotated by the armature and pumps the fluid from the inlet to the outlet. A flow impedance member extends axially in the fluid passage which impedes circumferential flow of the fluid within the fluid passage, thereby generating a pressure gradient circumferentially within the fluid passage which applies a lateral force to the armature.
Small, low-noise side channel compressor, in particular for devices in ventilation therapy
The invention relates to a small, low-noise side channel compressor for producing a defined volumetric flow, such as is needed in particular for devices for ventilation therapy. This is achieved by means of a new type of shape of the blade chambers (24) in the impeller (12) and the blade chamber walls (29), which separate the blade chambers and become thicker toward the circumference of the impeller, supported by a high-speed drive and a large number of blade chambers (24) at a small impeller diameter.
A fluid passage within the fluid pump provides fluid communication from the pump section outlet to the fluid pump outlet such that the armature in part defines the fluid passage. The armature includes blades arranged in a polar array centered about the axis such that each of the blades extends in a helix about the axis and such that the blades define chambers. The chambers are in constant fluid communication with the pump section outlet.
