Pump assembly and related methods
In one aspect, a pump is provided comprising a motor configured to rotate a shaft that is operably coupled to an impeller. The impeller is housed within a fluid chamber having an inlet and a discharge in fluid communication with the inlet. The fluid chamber further includes an outlet in a top portion thereof for venting air within the fluid chamber when the impeller is rotated by the motor. In other forms, a pump assembly is provided with an internal float switch integrated into the pump housing.

PUMP-DRIVEN COOLANT FILLING DEVICE AND METHODS
A system for cooling a circuit component on an electronic device includes a closed-loop cooling circuit and a coolant filling device. The closed-loop cooling circuit includes a coolant block, a first pump and a radiator. The coolant filling device includes a container, a base and a second pump disposed inside the base. The coolant filling device is configured for attachment to the cooling circuit. In some embodiments, when the coolant filling device is attached to the cooling circuit, coolant may be circulated from the coolant filling device to the cooling circuit while the cooling circuit circulates coolant. In further embodiments, when the coolant filling device is attached to the cooling circuit, coolant may be circulated from the coolant filling device to the cooling circuit while the electronic device remains powered on.

Impeller for centrifugal pump, particularly for a recessed-impeller pump, and pump with such an impeller
An impeller for centrifugal pump comprising: a disc, a succession of vanes which extend from the disc around the rotation axis, a central body, adapted for connection to a rotating shaft, the vanes having a profile with a double curvature: a first curvature with respect to a sectional plane that is parallel to the disc, a second curvature with respect to a sectional plane that is perpendicular to the plane of the disc, each one of the vanes comprising an inside curve and an outside curve with different curvatures: the inside curve having an angle of curvature chosen between zero and one quarter of a round angle, and/or the outside curve has an angle of curvature chosen between zero and one quarter of a round angle.
INDUCER FOR A SUBMERSIBLE PUMP FOR PUMPING A SLURRY CONTAINING SOLIDS AND VISCOUS FLUIDS AND METHOD OF DESIGNING SAME
An inducer and a submersible pump for pumping a slurry comprising solids and viscous fluids, the inducer mountable to the pump's drive shaft adjacent to and immediately upstream of an impeller mounted on said shaft. The inducer comprises a hub, two to four inducer blades extending outwardly from and wrapping helically around the hub, the hub and the inducer blades defining a plurality of channels A trailing edge of each inducer blade is positioned snugly adjacent to and in fluidical alignment with a leading edge of a corresponding impeller blade when the inducer is mounted on the drive shaft of the pump, such that a velocity curve of the slurry is smooth as the slurry travels from a leading edge of the inducer blades to the leading edge of the impeller blades.
Compressor
A compressor has a rotor. The rotor includes a plurality of impellers that include a disk having a solid structure having a buried center, and are adjacent to each other in an axial direction, and a plurality of bolts for fixing the plurality of impellers together. The disk has a disk surface facing the axial direction and a bolt hole penetrating the disk at a position deviated outward from an axis in a radial direction. The disk surface includes a contact surface of which at least a part is located outside the bolt hole in the radial direction, and a non-contact surface which is a region inside the contact surface in the radial direction.
