A rotary machine includes a cylindrical rotary shaft extending in a direction of an axis, a fastening bolt having a bolt body that extends in a direction of an axis 0 in the rotary shaft to form fastening portions at both ends, a pair of rotary bodies each having an end portion in the direction of the axis that is fixed to each of the pair of fastening portions to be in contact with an end surface of the rotary shaft in the direction of the axis, and a bolt extension mechanism that temporarily extends the bolt body in the direction of the axis.

Compressor Rotor, Compressor and Refrigerant Circulation System

The present disclosure provides a compressor rotor, a compressor and a refrigerant circulation system. The compressor rotor includes: a motor rotor including a plurality of rotor sections, a locking rod, a compression unit rotating part and a locking member. The rotor sections are fixedly connected in an axial direction and are provided with an axial through hole; and the locking rod penetrates through the axial through hole. The compression unit rotating part is located at the end part of the motor rotor and is connected to the locking rod. The locking member is configured to lock the compression unit rotating part on the locking rod. The locking rod, the compression unit rotating part and the locking member form a pressing structure which applies a pressure toward an axial inner side to the motor rotor.

Motor-driven compressor

A compressor includes a housing, a stationary block, a drive shaft, a motor mechanism, a stationary scroll, and a movable scroll. The stationary block is fixed to the housing and is arranged between the motor mechanism and the movable scroll. The motor mechanism includes a stator and a rotor. The drive shaft is provided with a balance weight. The balance weight extends in the radial direction of the drive shaft and is arranged between the stationary block and the stator. The stator includes a stator core and a coil end. The balance weight covers a part of the coil end in the radial direction and the axial direction of the drive shaft.

A compressor system includes a compressor housing and a driveshaft rotatably supported within the compressor housing. The compressor system further includes an impeller that imparts kinetic energy to incoming refrigerant gas upon rotation of the driveshaft, a thrust disk coupled to the driveshaft, and a bearing assembly mounted to the compressor housing. The impeller includes an impeller bore having an inner surface, and the thrust disk includes an outer disk and a hub. The bearing assembly rotatably supports the outer disk of the thrust disk. The hub is disposed within the impeller bore, and includes a hub outer surface in contact with the inner surface of the impeller bore. A first contact force between the hub outer surface and the inner surface of the impeller bore increases with increased rotational speed of the driveshaft.

Supercharger

Provided is a supercharger (11) comprising: a hollow housing (15); a rotating shaft (14) rotatably supported by the housing (15); a turbine (12) provided at one axial end of the rotating shaft (14); and a compressor (13) provided at the other axial end of the rotating shaft (14). A threaded section (41) and a circular column section (42) are axially arranged at the other end of the rotating shaft (14). A threaded hole (43) with which the threaded section (41) is engaged and a fitting hole (44) in which the circular column section (42) is fitted are axially arranged in the compressor (13). The axial length of the circular column section (42) and the fitting hole (44) is set to be greater than the axial length of the threaded section (41) and the threaded hole (43).

Keyless impeller system and method

A compressor for a heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) unit includes an impeller, a shaft configured to rotate the impeller, and a fastener. The impeller includes an opening and does not include keys, splines, pins, or any combination thereof. The fastener is coupled to an end of the shaft and extends through the opening of the impeller, and the fastener is configured to stretch in an axial direction relative to the shaft via a tensioner during assembly of the compressor.

Integrated gas compressor

An integrated gas compressor is disclosed herein. The integrated gas compressor includes an integrated motor with a stator, centrifugal impellers, and a shaft assembly with a rotor and conical transition. The integrated motor can produce an electromotive force that is imparted by the stator to rotate the rotor and components coupled to the rotor, such as the conical transition and the centrifugal impellers. At least one of the rotor and conical transition have a cavity.

A rotating assembly for a gas turbine engine has a balancing ring mounted to a first rotating component having a rotating unbalance about an axis of rotation. The ring is clocked at a circumferential position about the axis to counteract the rotating unbalance. A spacer is axially abutted against the first rotating component to set an axial position of the first rotating component relative to a second rotating component. The balancing ring is locked against rotation relative to the first rotating component in its circumferential position by the dual use spacer.

An impeller attach mechanism for a turbocharger including a stud extending from a central bore of a compressor impeller toward a turbine wheel, the stud having a first threaded region and a second threaded region; a shaft coupled to the turbine wheel and extending toward the compressor impeller, the shaft having a leading portion, the leading portion having a threaded interior configured to engage the second threaded region of the stud; and an insert having an internal portion and an external portion, the internal portion having a threaded external surface to engage the compressor impeller, the internal portion having a threaded internal surface to engage the first threaded region of the stud, the external portion configured to surround the leading portion of the shaft.

A compressor wheel for a turbocharger includes a body having a top and a bottom, the body formed from a material comprising titanium, a central hub extending from the top to the bottom of the body of the compressor wheel, a central axis extending longitudinally through a center of the central hub of the compressor wheel, a central opening extending through the central hub of the compressor wheel, and a first set of vanes mounted to the body relative to the central axis such that each of the first set of vanes is off-axis relative to the central axis. Each of the first set of vanes having a top portion proximate a top of the central hub and extending downwardly along a curved path to a bottom portion proximate a bottom of the body. The compressor wheel further includes a second set of vanes mounted to the body having a top portion proximate a midpoint of the body and extending downwardly along a curved path to a bottom portion proximate the bottom of the body. The bottom of the body of the compressor wheel has a bottom surface extending radially inwardly and upwardly such that less of the material is present than if the bottom surface was flat.
