Cushioned concave pads for self-balancing vehicles
Method and apparatus directed to cushioned concave pads, cushioned traction pads, and grip tape for self-balancing vehicles. The method and apparatus includes front cushioned pads and/or front cushioned traction pads having top surfaces and bottom surfaces; attaching the bottom surfaces of the front cushioned pads and/or the front cushioned traction pads to a first deck portion disposed at a first end of a frame; selecting rear cushioned pads and/or rear cushioned traction pads having top and bottom surfaces. The top surfaces of the rear cushioned pads and/or rear cushioned traction pads can have a rear kicktail extending integrally upwardly and rearwardly. The method and apparatus further include attaching the bottom surfaces of the rear cushioned pads and/or the rear cushioned traction pads to a second deck portion disposed at a second end of the frame.
A GAIT CONTROLLED MOBILITY DEVICE
A mobility device comprising a motorized shoe to be worn by a user to increase the speed of walking. The motorized shoe has a plurality of wheels, with at least one wheel driven by an electric motor through a geartrain. On onboard controller gathers data from at least one of an inertial measurement unit, an ultrasonic sensor, and a vision system to generate a command speed to the electric motor. A user wearing a pair of the mobility devices, one on each foot, is able to walk with a normal gait, but at an increased speed.

FOOT LIFT ATTACHMENTS FOR SKATEBOARDS AND COMBINATIONS THEREOF
A pair of foot lift attachments for attachment to single-wheel motorized electric skateboards, and combinations thereof. The foot lift attachments include a right foot lift attachment and a left foot lift attachment, each having a first concave curved outer facing side wall configured to be engaged on a curved support surface of either of a fender covering the single wheel, or a curved support surface of a mounting bracket secured at each side of the opening for the single wheel, and each having a convex curved top end wall with a concave curved underside configured to laterally receive and overlap the medial side and a top portion of the skateboard rider's foot and footwear worn on the foot to enable the rider to lift the skateboard off the ground with their feet and perform freestyle skateboarding maneuvers and aerial moves and jumps.
Micro Board
In a preferred embodiment a wheeled platform apparatus and method for use in rolling on a surface are provided. The apparatus includes a platform having a top surface, a bottom surface, a front portion, a center portion, a rear portion, and a first wheel and a second wheel that interface with or are positioned below the bottom surface of the platform to facilitate rolling movement of the platform. The apparatus may further include an attachment device interfacing with the top surface and the footwear, as well as a footrest to support the forefoot of another foot, or footwear.
Automatic retention apparatus
An apparatus for automatically adjusting tension on retention member to hold multiple objects together. Examples include using retention apparatus to obtain optimal fit and use of a human wearable item such as article of footwear. Sensors may be used to sense changes in movement of the article of footwear, of the person wearing it, or of a third object such as a vehicle carrying the person. A retention member may surround at least a portion of the objects, and an actuator may be included that automatically rotates a rotating member such as a gear or pulley that may be coupled to the retention member. The rotating member may be configured to automatically adjust tension on the retention member many times per second based on control signals from control logic responsive to the sensors.

Mobilized platforms
Mobilized platforms are disclosed herein. The mobilized platforms can include a first fork hanger attached to a platform at a first platform end with a first cog-hub assembly attached thereto and a second fork hanger attached to the platform at a second platform end with a second cog-hub assembly attached thereto. The fork hangers can be attached to the cog-hub assemblies such that each fork hanger is attached to a cob-hub assembly at both a first cog-hub assembly end and a second cog- hub assembly end opposite said first cog-hub assembly end. The mobilized platforms can include additional features such as baseplates or transom plates. The cog-hub assemblies can also comprise wheel assemblies or connected cog-hub subassemblies. The mobilized platforms can also include a treading connected to the cog-hub assemblies.
