Pump control having repositionable display
A pump unit includes a drive motor (14) and a first housing (2), in which a control electronics unit (18) is arranged for operating the drive motor (14). An operating unit (20) having at least one display or operating element (26, 28, 30) can be detachably connected to the first housing in at least two different positions.
Fuel pump having pulsation dampening branch flow paths
A fuel pump includes a housing, a pump section disposed within the housing on a first side thereof, a motor section disposed within the housing on a second side thereof and communicating with the pump section, and an upper body closing an end of the housing on the second side. A fuel chamber, into which fuel flows from the pump section through the motor section toward the second side of the housing, and a first branch fuel path, which is connected to the fuel chamber, are provided between the upper body and a motor. A discharge port is connected to the fuel chamber. A supply port is connected to the first branch fuel path, and the fuel in the fuel chamber is provided to the supply port through the first branch fuel path.
PUMP
A pump has a main body. An assembling part is formed in the main body and has an assembling chamber. A mounting part is formed in the assembling chamber and has a discharging chamber. An influent hole and an effluent hole are respectively defined through an inner surface of the discharging chamber. A storage hole is defined through the assembling chamber and communicates with the effluent hole. A mounting cover is mounted on the mounting part. A motor is mounted on the main body. An impeller is located in the discharging chamber and connected with the motor. A covering assembly is mounted on the assembling part and has a storage chamber that communicates with the storage hole. When working fluid passes through the effluent hole, some of the working fluid enters the storage chamber via the storage hole, eliminating the need to additionally process the mounting cover.
Bilge pump having concealed air-lock vent
The pump has a pump body having a pump body portion with a vent hole to allow air entrapped in the pump body to bleed out to atmosphere and allow liquid to fill the pump body in order to get the pump running, and also includes a tab receiving portion having a rim defining an opening; and a pump/strainer assembly that includes a base with slots/openings formed therein to receive and strain liquid to be pumped, and includes a strainer retaining tab with a raised rim to be received in the opening of the tab receiving portion and circumferentially engaged by the rim of the opening to hold together the pump/strainer assembly and the pump body. The at least one tab receiving portion and the strainer retaining tab are dimensioned to conceal the vent hole and substantially prevent the liquid from bleeding through the vent hole and squirting outside of the pump body when the pump is running.
Cutter wheel, cutter disc as well as cutter assembly suitable for grinder pumps
A cutter assembly configured for a grinder pump and including a cutter wheel and a cutter disc that interact with each other. The cutter wheel includes a shaft portion that is configured to interact with a central hole of the cutter disc, a hub portion that is connected to the shaft portion and at least two main cutting edges that in the radial direction extend outwards from the hub portion and that are configured to interact with a set of cutting holes of the cutter disc. The shaft portion includes an axially extending cutting recess. The hub portion includes only one radially extending cutting recess. The cutter disc includes a suction side, a central hole that is configured to interact with the shaft portion of the cutter wheel and a set of cutting holes that open in the suction side radially outside the central hole.
Threaded connectors between submersible well pump modules
An electrical submersible pump assembly has modules including a pump, a motor, and a pressure equalizer. A first adapter having threads is mounted to one of the modules. A second adapter is mounted to an adjacent one of the modules, the second adapter having a tubular body, a neck, and an external shoulder at a base of the neck. A collar is rotatably carried on the neck and in threaded engagement with the threads of the first adapter. A clamp secures around the neck between the external shoulder and the collar after the collar is fully engaged with the threads on the first adapter. A pair of flanges are mounted to and extend outward from the clamp. A motor lead locates between the flanges.
LOW PROFILE PUMP WITH THE ABILITY TO BE MOUNTED IN VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS
A pumping system featuring a pump chamber configured with a central portion having a tangential outlet, and configured with a tubular coupling end portion having inwardly flexible rim portions on one side; and a mounting base, having a circular portion with an inner circumferential rim configured to receive and engage the inwardly flexible rim portions of the tubular coupling portion of the pump chamber so as to be rotationally coupled to the pumping chamber so that the pumping chamber may be rotated 360° in relation to the mounting base.
WATER PUMP UNIT
A water pump unit has, within a water pump case, a drive shaft for driving an impeller, and a transmission member for transmitting power of a power supply device to the drive shaft. The water pump unit is configured such that the water pump case receives therein and supports the drive shaft, the transmission member is supported by the water pump case by means of the drive shaft with a part of the transmission member protruding from within the water pump case, and an attachment surface of the water pump case, for joining the water pump case to the power supply device, is formed to extend along the transmission member.
Submersible water circulation system for enclosed tanks
A submersible, water circulation system for enclosed tanks such as used by municipalities, fire districts, and industries. The system includes a driving unit having a shell extending along an axis with a pump supported within the shell. The shell has at least one inlet and at least one outlet and is positionable on the floor of the tank with the outlet facing upwardly. The upwardly facing outlet is preferably a thin, upwardly facing, elongated slot and creates a thin, substantially planar discharge of water therethrough that is directed upwardly toward the surface of the body of water. The substantially planar discharge presents a very large surface area for its volume and induces water adjacent the outside of the shell of the driving unit to move upwardly with it toward the surface of the body of water.
Guard for a rotary pump
Guards for rotary pumps are described, the pump having a main body and further including an impeller housing and a driveshaft extending between the main body of the pump and the impeller housing; the pump further including an adjustable sealing arrangement provided at a region where the driveshaft enters the impeller housing, the guard provides access to adjust the sealing arrangement but obstructs access to the driveshaft.
