SENSING VIA SIGNAL TO SIGNAL TRANSLATION
A system for measuring a first physical parameter includes a mechanical device configured to operate based on the first physical parameter, and a source sensor coupled with the mechanical device and configured to output a signal indicative of the first physical parameter that is based on a second physical parameter and a forward mapping function, wherein the forward mapping function is learned during a system training phase in which pairwise first physical parameter data from a first physical parameter sensor is forward mapped from second physical parameter data from the source sensor.
Drainage pump and cloth treating apparatus including same
A drainage pump includes a housing that defines a receiving space configured to receive fluid. The housing defines a suction port configured to introduce fluid into the receiving space, and a first discharge port and a second discharge port that are configured to discharge the fluid in the receiving space to an outside of the housing. The drainage pump further includes an impeller disposed in the receiving space and configured to rotate about a rotation axis to thereby discharge the fluid in the receiving space through the first discharge port or the second discharge port; a first rib that protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of the housing toward a center of the receiving space and that is disposed between the first discharge port and the second discharge port; and a second rib that protrudes from a portion of the first rib toward the center of the receiving space.
Method for Preventing Vibration in Pumps
A method for preventing or reducing mechanical vibrations of a pump, in particular a centrifugal pump, during pump operation is provided. A pump controller detects at least one signal of a pump operation parameter and identifies signal fluctuations in order to detect mechanical vibrations occurring in the pump. The pump controller controls the frequency converter to modify the pump speed in order to reduce a detected pump vibration.
A Device to Shift Structural Resonance in a Vertical Long Shaft Pump
A simple and cost-effective device to shift a structural resonance in a vertical long shaft pump is disclosed. T disclosed device comprising portion of a motor of the vertical pump by using a plurality of fasteners, and one an upper plate and a lower plate being adapted for fitment at a non-driving end or more annular plates adapted for fitment at the non-driving end portion of the motor between the upper plate and the lower. Each of the one or more annular plates comprises an annular central hole with splined grooves to engage with cooling fins of the motor. The device further comprises tie rods for fitment with flanges of a column pipe of the vertical pump using Bellville washers and bolts, and mass blocks with matching square internal threading for fitment with the tie rods to add mass at required location.
PERMANENT MAGNET DIRECT-DRIVE SLURRY PUMP BASED ON GAS FILM DRAG REDUCTION
Disclosed is a permanent magnet direct-drive slurry pump based on gas film drag reduction, which includes a permanent magnet motor, a main shaft, an impeller, and a valve block. The permanent magnet motor includes a housing, a stator core, stator windings, a rotor core, and a permanent magnet. The rotor core and the impeller share the main shaft, and an airflow channel is provided inside the main shaft. The impeller includes a front cover plate, a back cover plate, and blades. The blades are modularly manufactured, and blade gas jet holes and hemispherical pits are provided on the pressure surface. The airflow channel in the main shaft is communicated with the blade gas-jet holes. The valve block is disposed at the tail end of the main shaft so as to control gas exhaust and prevent liquid from entering the shaft. The present invention has such advantages as a small size, high efficiency, and strong wear resistance.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP OPERATION
A method for controlling a hydraulic pumping system that includes a centrifugal pump operating at a functional point. The method uses parameters of the centrifugal pump at the functional point and end-of-lines characteristics of the centrifugal pump to determine an updated Net Positive Suction Head Required, NPSH.sub.r, value.
Pump with vibration sensor and its production process
This pump includes a computing device, with a vibration waveform analysis section and a memory, the analysis section being designed to control the motor, by comparing a vibration waveform received from the vibration sensor with vibration waveforms saved in the memory.
PUMP DAMPER ASSEMBLY AND DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwasher appliance or pump assembly may include a fluid pump and a vibration damper. The fluid pump may define a center of gravity. The vibration damper may be attached to the fluid pump. The vibration damper may include first and second spring beams and first and second damper masses. The first spring beam may extend longitudinally between a fixed end and a free end and be offset from the center of gravity at a first radial side. The first damper mass may be disposed on the free end of the first spring beam. The second spring beam may extend longitudinally between a fixed and a free end and be offset from the center of gravity at a second radial side. The second damper mass may be disposed on the free end of the second spring beam.
Guide claw and a method of arranging a pump on a base
Some particular preferred embodiments relate to the field of pumping stations for sewage and wastewater with submersible pumps mounted in the bottom of the wells. To allow easy cleaning and maintenance of the pumps without getting in contact with the dirty water the solution is a system for easy lifting of the pump out of the well and lowering the pump again with an auto coupling.
