The mounting structure is only arranged on the flow housing part. The flow housing part at least partially surrounds the spiral flow channel and at least partially surrounds the rotatably supported fluid-conveying element. The separate motor housing part surrounds the electric drive motor.
Apparatus and method for alleviating and preventing cavitation surge of water supply conduit system
A turbo pump acts on a liquid, and an apparatus and a method suppresses or alleviates a cavitation surge which is a unique phenomenon occurring in a turbo pump for a liquid. A method of operating a turbo pump while suppressing cavitation, includes: measuring a flow rate upstream of the turbo pump and a flow rate downstream of the turbo pump for delivering a liquid and comparing the flow rates with each other; if the upstream flow rate is lower than the downstream flow rate, reducing a pressure in a pump suction section to increase an upstream flow velocity while reducing a pressure in a pump discharge section to lower a downstream flow velocity; and if the downstream flow rate is lower than the upstream flow rate, increasing the pressure in the pump discharge section to increase the downstream flow velocity while increasing the pressure in the pump suction section.
Process fluid lubricated pump and seawater injection system
A process fluid lubricated pump includes a pump having a pump shaft extending from a drive end to a non-drive end to rotate about an axial direction, a first pump section having a first set of impellers fixedly mounted on the pump shaft to increase the pressure of the process fluid, a drive to exert a torque on the drive end of the pump shaft to drive the rotation of the pump shaft, a first balance drum fixedly connected to the pump shaft between the pump and the drive end of the pump shaft, the first balance drum defining a first front side facing the pump and a first back side, and a second balance drum fixedly connected to the pump shaft between the pump and the non-drive end of the pump shaft, the second balance drum defining a second front side facing the pump and a second back side.
Blade and pump impeller assembly for a dishwasher
A dishwasher comprising a chassis, a tub supported by the chassis and at least partially defining a treating chamber, and a pump that circulates wash liquid in the treating chamber. The pump has an impeller that has a cover, a base with an axis of rotation, and at least one fin protruding from the base. The impeller also has a cap removably coupled to the impeller and at least one blade integrally formed with the cap.
Multiphase pump
A multiphase pump for conveying a multiphase process fluid includes a pump housing, a rotor and a radial bearing. The rotor is arranged in the pump housing and is configured to rotate about an axial direction. The radial bearing has a support carrier and a support structure to support the rotor with respect to a radial direction. The rotor includes a pump shaft and an impeller fixedly mounted on the pump shaft to convey the process fluid from a pump inlet to a pump outlet. A squeeze film damper is provided to reduce vibrations of the rotor, the squeeze film damper arranged around the support structure of the radial bearing, and having an radially outer surface. A damping gap is arranged between the support structure of the radial bearing and the radially outer surface of the squeeze film damper. The damping gap is configured to receive a damping fluid.
ROTARY PUMP FOR CONVEYING A FLUID
A rotary pump includes a balance drum connected to a pump shaft between a hydraulic unit and the pump shaft, an axial relief passage between a balance drum and a stationary part stationary relative to a pump housing, and a balancing device arranged between the balance drum and the hydraulic unit, the balancing device including a ring-shaped rotary part connected to the pump shaft, and a ring-shaped non-rotary part movable only in the axial direction, the rotary part having an axial face facing the hydraulic unit, the rotary part and the non-rotary part overlap in a radial direction, which is perpendicular to the axial direction, and the non-rotary part movable in the axial direction such that a radial relief passage is open during operation of the pump, with the radial relief passage extending in the radial direction between the rotary part and the non-rotary part.
Permanent magnet direct-drive slurry pump based on gas film drag reduction
Disclosed is a permanent magnet direct-drive slurry pump based on gas film drag reduction, which includes a permanent magnet motor, a main shaft, an impeller, and a valve block. The permanent magnet motor includes a housing, a stator core, stator windings, a rotor core, and a permanent magnet. The rotor core and the impeller share the main shaft, and an airflow channel is provided inside the main shaft. The impeller includes a front cover plate, a back cover plate, and blades. The blades are modularly manufactured, and blade gas jet holes and hemispherical pits are provided on the pressure surface. The airflow channel in the main shaft is communicated with the blade gas-jet holes. The valve block is disposed at the tail end of the main shaft so as to control gas exhaust and prevent liquid from entering the shaft. The present invention has such advantages as a small size, high efficiency, and strong wear resistance.
Centrifugal pump
A centrifugal pump to improve the efficiency of fluid flow r, and minimize long term wear on the pump by progressively increasing fluid pressure as fluid moves from an eye of an impeller towards diffuser blades, into the volute and out through a outlet. The fluid pressure is increased by progressively increasing the volume through which the fluid travels. A tear-drop shaped volute casing surrounding the diffuser and impeller creates a pocket of maximum pressure just below the outlet. A dampener can be provided to dampen the vibration of the motor.
