Screw compressor
A screw compressor includes a casing, a screw rotor, a low-pressure-side bearing, and a low-pressure-side bearing holder holding the low-pressure-side bearing. The screw rotor is housed in the casing to form a compression mechanism to compress a refrigerant. The low-pressure-side bearing is arranged in a low-pressure-side region inside the casing and rotatably supports a drive shaft of the screw rotor. The casing has a suction port with an opening facing the low-pressure-side bearing holder as viewed along an axial direction. A filter member is attached to the suction port to filter out contaminants contained in the refrigerant being sucked into the casing. The filter member has a cylindrical shape with a bottom. A peripheral portion of the filter member adjacent to an opening of the filter member is fixed to the suction port. The bottom of the filter member is fixed to the low-pressure-side bearing holder.
Splinter shield for vacuum pump, and vacuum pump with the splinter shield
The present invention provides a splinter shield for a vacuum pump, capable of reducing costs of the splinter shield by obtaining a single sheet of splinter shield having a required strength, in which fastening strength to a fixing groove is enhanced to prevent the splinter shield from bending toward the inside of a pump and coming into contact with equipment inside the pump when air rushes into the pump through an inlet port and to prevent the splinter shield from falling. Furthermore, attachment and removal of the splinter shield with respect to the inlet port are facilitated. The present invention is a splinter shield for a vacuum pump in which a rim formed in a circumferential edge portion of the splinter shield is inserted into a fixing groove that is provided in a concave manner in an inner circumferential portion of an inlet port, and the splinter shield is provided in a tensioned manner to the inlet port by pushing a retaining ring into the fixing groove, wherein locking parts that are locked into the retaining ring at a plurality of sections in the rim are provided in a standing manner at substantially right angles to the rim.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONDITIONING FLOW OF A WET GAS STREAM
A flow conditioning device for conditioning a wet gas stream having a plurality of liquid droplets and a gas flow is presented. The flow conditioning device includes a first segment including a first convergent section configured to break the plurality of liquid droplets from a first size to a second size. Further, the flow conditioning device includes a second segment coupled to the first segment and including a second convergent section configured to break the plurality of liquid droplets from the second size to a third size.
Elevator ventilation fan assembly
An elevator ventilation fan assembly for hazardous operating environments and comprising a fan disposed within an enclosure to be carried on an elevator cab roof. The fan may be suspended by a fan support framework from at least three non-co-linear suspension locations of the enclosure lid. The assembly may include a vibration isolation element disposed between the fan motor and the enclosure lid, a cover panel supported by a cover support framework on the enclosure lid, a fan guard screen carried by the enclosure lid, a fan motor junction box carried within the enclosure by the lid and accessible via a removable side panel of the enclosure, and/or a fan duct surrounding the fan.
Inlet tube design
A ram air fan assembly includes an outer housing. An inner housing is located within the outer housing. A motor is attached to the inner housing. An inlet tube extends between the outer housing and the motor. The inlet tube includes a straight first portion and a curved second portion. At least one of the two portions includes a perforated portion.
Centrifugal rotary machine
This centrifugal rotary machine includes an impeller having a disk, blades, and a cover. The centrifugal rotary machine further includes a casing which accommodates the impeller radially inward and forms a gap between an outer circumferential surface of the cover and the casing. The centrifugal rotary machine further includes a sealing device which seals the gap. The casing includes an end wall surface which is disposed to face one axial side of a cover end surface facing one axial side of the cover, extends in the radial direction and forms a radial flow path between the end wall surface and the cover end surface. The casing further includes a foreign matter introduction path which is formed inside the casing and communicates with a radially outer side of the radial flow path.
Compact compressor intake system and method
A system includes an inlet duct disposed about an inlet axis, wherein the inlet duct is configured to direct an airflow along the inlet axis to a compressor inlet. The inlet includes an inlet heating system and a heating portion having a longitudinal axis that is substantially perpendicular to the inlet axis. The inlet heating system includes a first conduit substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis that is configured to distribute a heated fluid directly to the airflow via a first set of openings of a first end zone of the first conduit and a second set of openings of a second zone of the first conduit. The first end zone is configured to receive the heated fluid from a heating source, the second zone is coupled to the first end zone, and the second zone is configured to receive the heated fluid from the first end zone.
VACUUM PUMP AND VACUUM PUMP COMPONENT
To provide a vacuum pump that is capable of efficiently cooling gas and requires less maintenance. The vacuum pump includes: a main body casing having an inlet portion and an outlet portion for gas; a turbomolecular pump mechanism portion in which a stator blade and a rotor blade are formed; a thread groove pump mechanism portion provided at a downstream side of the turbomolecular pump mechanism portion; a cooling trap portion that cools the gas led out from the turbomolecular pump mechanism portion and causes the gas to flow out to a side of the thread groove pump mechanism portion; and a partition wall that guides the gas led out from the turbomolecular pump mechanism portion to the cooling trap portion.
MASK APPARATUS
A mask apparatus includes a mask body including an air duct and a fan module mounting portion disposed at a suction-side of the air duct, a fan module disposed at the fan module mounting portion, and a mask body cover that is coupled to the front surface of the mask body and covers the fan module and the air duct. The mask body cover defines an air suction hole configured to communicate air with a fan inlet, and the fan module has a first end inserted into the air duct and a second end coupled to the mask body.
