Ejector and heat pump apparatus including the same
An ejector includes a first nozzle, a second nozzle, an atomization mechanism, and a mixer. A working fluid in a liquid phase is supplied to the first nozzle as a drive flow. A working fluid in a gas phase is sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism is disposed at an end of the first nozzle and atomizes the working fluid in a liquid phase while maintaining the liquid phase. The mixer generates a fluid mixture by mixing the atomized working fluid generated by the atomization mechanism and the working fluid in a gas phase sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism includes an ejection section that generates a jet of the working fluid in a liquid phase and a collision surface with which the jet from the ejection section collides. The collision surface is inclined with respect to a direction in which the jet flows.

An ejector includes a first nozzle, a second nozzle, an atomization mechanism, and a mixer. A working fluid in a liquid phase is supplied to the first nozzle as a drive flow. A working fluid in a gas phase is sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism is disposed at an end of the first nozzle and atomizes the working fluid in a liquid phase while maintaining the liquid phase. The mixer generates a fluid mixture by mixing the atomized working fluid generated by the atomization mechanism and the working fluid in a gas phase sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism includes an ejection section that generates a jet of the working fluid in a liquid phase and a collision surface with which the jet from the ejection section collides. The collision surface is inclined with respect to a direction in which the jet flows.
Nozzle for a fan assembly
There is provided a nozzle for a fan assembly. The nozzle comprises a nozzle body, an air inlet for receiving an air flow, and one or more air outlets for emitting the air flow. The nozzle body has the general shape of a truncated ellipsoid, with a first truncation forming a face of the nozzle body and a second truncation forming a base of the nozzle body. The one or more air outlets are provided on the face of the nozzle body. Preferably, the air inlet is provided at the base of the nozzle body.
Swimming System Current Generator
A current generator for a swimming system may include multiple entrainment pumps that discharge a flow of water into a pool. The entrainment pumps may each have a nozzle, a venturi and an entrainment inlet. In use, the flow of water from the nozzle into the venturi causes water at the entrainment inlet to flow into the venturi along with water from the nozzle. Each entrainment pump is arranged such that the fluid that flows out of the venturi passage is directed within a main passage, and the flow from multiple venturis may be combined and may be directed at least partially against the force of gravity before that fluid is directed out of the main passage outlet and into the pool. In at least some implementations, the fluid flows for at least one foot between the venturi and the main passage outlet.
Swimming System Current Generator
A current generator for a swimming system may include multiple entrainment pumps that discharge a flow of water into a pool. The entrainment pumps may each have a nozzle, a venturi and an entrainment inlet. In use, the flow of water from the nozzle into the venturi causes water at the entrainment inlet to flow into the venturi along with water from the nozzle. Each entrainment pump is arranged such that the fluid that flows out of the venturi passage is directed within a main passage, and the flow from multiple venturis may be combined and may be directed at least partially against the force of gravity before that fluid is directed out of the main passage outlet and into the pool. In at least some implementations, the fluid flows for at least one foot between the venturi and the main passage outlet.
Devices, systems, and methods for variable flow rate fuel ejection
Devices, systems, and methods for variable flow rate fuel ejection are disclosed. A variable flow rate ejector comprises primary and secondary inlets, primary and secondary nozzles, and a needle. The primary nozzle is connected to receive a first fluid from the first inlet chamber and transmit the first fluid through a primary nozzle opening. The needle is disposed within the primary nozzle opening and is axially movable to vary an area of primary nozzle opening. The primary nozzle opening and the needle are sized to make the flow of the first fluid have a supersonic speed. The secondary inlet opens into a second inlet chamber positioned outside the primary nozzle opening. A portion of the second fluid is entrained in the flow of the first fluid from the primary nozzle. The secondary nozzle opening is sized to make the flow of the first and second fluids have a subsonic speed.

This invention relates to a ceiling mounted air circulating apparatus comprising, in combination: a motor; an essentially centrally located radial or axial air impeller; air guiding means; optional airflow enhancement by means of air amplification means; optional centrally located wiring path from an electrical power source to a wiring enclosure suitable for hanging a lighting fixture or chandelier; and decorative embellishments, ail of which are arranged to blend with the architectural style of a space in a manner similar to a decorative ceiling medallion, the plariform of which, when viewed from below may be circular, rectangular, or polygonal. Optionally, the apparatus of the present invention may embody any of the following; heating, cooling, filtration means, positive ion generation means, and / or air sterilization means.
NOZZLE DEVICE
A nozzle device includes a first passage, a second passage, and a first ambient valve clapper. The first passage includes a first intake and a first outlet. The second passage includes a second intake and a second outlet. The first ambient valve clapper is configured to control entry of fluid into the second passage through the second intake. The fluid is pumped to enter the first passage through the first intake to form a first negative pressure zone next to the first outlet, and the first ambient valve clapper is opened via a pressure difference between the first negative pressure zone and the surrounding of the nozzle device, allowing the fluid to flow into the second passage.
Ejector
A mixing portion that mixes an injection refrigerant and a suction refrigerant is formed in a range of an internal space of a heating-side body portion of a heating-side ejector from a refrigerant injection port of a heating-side nozzle portion to an inlet of a heating-side diffuser. Further, the mixing portion is formed in a shape that gradually decreases a refrigerant passage area toward a downstream side of a refrigerant flow, and a refrigerant passage area of the inlet of the heating-side diffuser is set smaller than that of the refrigerant injection port. Thus, the flow velocity of the mixed refrigerant is decelerated to a value lower than a two phase sound velocity within the mixing portion, thereby suppressing occurrence of shock wave in the heating-side diffuser and stabilizing the pressure increasing performance in the heating-side diffuser.
