Tennis Court Corner Marker
A device for marking the corner demarcation lines of a tennis court that facilitates identifying whether a ball lands inbounds or out-of-bounds.
Line fault detection systems and method for determining whether a sport gaming device has bounced off an area of a sports field
We generally describe an audio-based line fault detection system for a sports game. The audio-based line fault detection system comprises one or more audio sensors (102) for sensing an audio signal generated by a sports gaming device bouncing off a sports field. The sports field comprises surface modifications applied to a line and/or an area adjacent to the line on the sports field such that the generated audio signal is dependent on whether or not the sports gaming device bounces off the sports field where the surface modifications are applied. The detection system is configured to generate a sound profile from the audio signal sensed by the one or more audio sensors (102). The detection system is further configured to identify a bounce type based on the sound profile, wherein the bounce type is defined by whether or not the sports gaming device has bounced off the sports field where the surface modifications are applied.
Corner markers
A demarcation arrangement for a playing zone directed to a sports involving alternating or dual zones while a game is played. The present disclosure includes a corner-shaped device configured to be located at the corner of a sport zone, wherein said corner-shaped structure comprising a particular indicia and configured to be part of the playing zone while it is visually distinctive from the boundaries lines of said playing zone.
Real-time laser measurement and marking apparatus
A real-time measurement and marking apparatus is provided. The disclosure providing a portable marking device comprising: a housing including a main housing structure and a can cover, the main housing structure having a front open end, a rear nozzle end, a top surface, a bottom surface, and a pair of opposing side walls, wherein at least one of the side walls defines an aperture, the can cover having a rear open end, a front closed end, the can cover extending at the rear open end to selectively engage with the aperture defined by at least one of the side walls releasably securing a spray can within the housing; a nozzle member positioned at the rear nozzle end of the of the main housing structure; an optical measuring apparatus for real-time measuring of a distance between a point of focus and the portable marking device activated by one or more buttons.
TAPING DEVICE SYSTEM AND METHODS THEREOF
A taping device system for applying one or more boundaries to define a sporting court. In example embodiments, the court is a pickleball court. The taping device system can include a taping device, one or more spacer components, one or more corner markers, a desired length of guidance string and an applicator tool.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURING BASES, HOME PLATES, PITCHER'S RUBBERS, AND DOUBLE BASES TO SYNTHETIC TURF
An anchor includes a frame assembly and a removable cover plug. The frame assembly includes an access frame having a bottom and a wall defining an upper opening and a cavity therein, a first flexible seal extends above the upper opening of the wall, and at least one vertical member is in communication with the cavity of the access frame. The plug is operable for covering opening in the access frame. The plug includes a platform for supporting synthetic turf on the platform. When the plug is removed, at least one stanchion of a base, a home plate, a double base, or a pitcher's rubber is engageable with the vertical member.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A WATER SPORTS TRACK
Provided is a water track marker (1) for marking a sports track, such as a water ski track, on a water surface (20). The water track marker comprises at least a first marker ejector (11) configured to eject marker projectiles (2) towards the water for creating an instant marking (3) on the water surface (20) upon impact with the water surface (20). Provided is also a method for marking a sports track and a towing boat comprising said water track marker.
Mounting clamp for line striper sprayer
A method of mounting at least one spray gun assembly onto an arm of a line striper includes installing a first clamp onto the arm with the first clamp being connected to a first spray gun assembly and the first clamp having an opening. The first clamp is installed onto the arm by placing the arm within the opening of the first clamp without sliding the first clamp onto an end of the arm. The method also includes securing the arm of the line striper within the opening of the first clamp.
OVERLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF INSTALLING OVERLAY SYSTEMS
A method of installing a binder-based overlay system may include contacting a layer of geotextile fabric to a surface of a substrate and applying a primer layer to a surface of the geotextile fabric. Two or more binder layers including infill particles may be applied over the primer layer. A resurfacer layer followed by one or more color layers may be applied over the two or more binder layers. The primer layer, one or more binder layers, resurfacer layer, and two or more color layers may cure upon application to form a monolithic layer upon the substrate.
Two-Strike Baseball and Modified Scoring System
The invention is an improved baseball game which reduces the time of play by having the participants start each at bat with two balls and two strikes, and which replaces the runs scored system of scoring with a scoring system that awards points for particular baseball plays and results.
By simultaneously modifying the baseball scoring system to a system that awards points for particular plays, particular results and sportsmanship, the invention will provide each player with a greater opportunity to influence the outcome of a game. Another object and advantage of the point system is that by rewarding particular baseball play, a greater emphasis will be placed on executing fundamental baseball skills.
In making both these changes simultaneously as one package, the invention has the object and advantage of creating a new and improved version of the traditional baseball game.
