The pressure intensifier includes a first compartment, and a second compartment fluidically coupled to the second separator compartment. The second compartment of the pressure intensifier includes a pressure concentrator having a housing, a piston head member including arms, a plurality of cylinders each defined in part by the housing, and a drive piston head portion.
A device for generating energy from variable hydrostatic pressure
A piezoelectric renewable energy reactor under conditions of variable hydrostatic pressure consists of a liquid hydrochamber containing a horizontal “liquid plate” and a vertical “liquid column” connected to each other, with one or more piezoelectric collectors located in the volume of the “liquid plate”. It enables a very high energy performance provided by the admissible infinitely large ratio between the volumes of the “liquid plate” and the “liquid column” and the admissible unlimited number and area of piezoelectric collectors that can be added to the same “liquid column”.
Device and method for swinging power generation and vibration suppression by using arc-shaped wing plates with rough surfaces
The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for swinging power generation and vibration suppression by using arc-shaped wing plates with rough surfaces. The device consists of two parts, namely, a rotary swinging system and a collector system. The rotary swinging system includes a collector riser, steering bearings, nanometer material arc-shaped power generation wing plates, and flexible tail plates. The collector system includes telescopic power generation cylinders, a waterproof electric slip ring, and a waterproof power transmission line. The suppression of energy-consumption-free vortex-induced vibration is realized under the combined action that the nanometer material arc-shaped power generation wing plates divide a flowing space and adjust a flow direction, the nanometer material arc-shaped power generation wing plates drive the flexible tail plates to swing to destroy a tail vortex street, and hemispherical bulges and trumpet-shaped deflector holes disturb a boundary layer around flow.
Piezoelectric power apparatus
A piezoelectric power apparatus wherein piezoelectric material forms one wall of a liquid-filled container. Water pressure within the container is made to rapidly vary either by a cam operated piston or a motor operated ball valve acting on a pressurized liquid flow. The piston reciprocates through a wall of the container to alternately increase and decrease the pressure in the liquid. The ball valve periodically interrupts the pressurized liquid flow to alternately increase and decrease the pressure in the liquid. In either case, the alternate increase and decrease in the pressure in the liquid creates pressure variations in the piezoelectric material.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HARVESTING ELECTRIC ENERGY FROM AIR FLOW IN A MOVING SYSTEM
A transportation vehicle may be equipped with electrical energy harvesting systems to harvest electrical energy for use. By way of example, the transportation vehicle includes a Venturi system and a plurality of energy harvesting systems. The Venturi system is configured to receive and accelerate the speed of an incoming air flow and based on the incoming air flow, each of the energy harvesting systems is configured to receive the accelerated incoming air flow and to generate electrical energy from the accelerated incoming air flow. The generated electrical energy is stored into onboard batteries in the transportation vehicle.
Actuating and sensing module
An actuating and sensing module is disclosed and includes an actuating device, a first substrate, a second substrate, a valve membrane and a sensor stacked sequentially. The first substrate includes an intake channel, an exhaust channel, an inlet and an outlet. The valve membrane is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and includes an intake valve and an exhaust valve to insulate the intake channel and the exhaust channel, respectively. The actuating device is disposed to seal a through slot of the second substrate to form a compressing chamber. The inlet, the intake channel, the compressing chamber, the exhaust channel and the outlet are in communication with each other to define a gas flow loop. The sensor is disposed in the gas flow loop. While the actuating device drives gas from the outside, the gas is transported into the gas flow loop and sensed by the sensor.

Modular hydro-kinetic power source
A modular system of generating electrical power from mechanical energy of kinetic motion originating in current, waves, and tides, where the system resembles natural habitat and illustrates options for optimizing the transmission of current through the system. One or more branches elongate members containing current generators extend up from the bottom of a body of water. The elongate members move with water, in the manner of kelp, to actuate the current generators, and thus transform mechanical energy due to forces inherent in a body of water to electrical power.
