Device for mounting wind turbine components and mounting method using said device
A device for mounting wind turbine components and mounting method using the device is disclosed. The device is used to lift the components, such as the segments (1) forming the tower and the nacelle (2) of a wind turbine, these components are mounted to the structure of the wind turbine, the device having a lower portion (3) and an upper portion (4) coupled by a swivel joint (5), the lower portion (3) associated with a telescopic assembly (6) fastening to the segments (1) of the already-mounted tower portion of the wind turbine, while a lift (10) is movable along the whole of both portions (3) and (4), securing the components (1, 2) of the wind turbine to be mounted, to lift these components (1, 2) of the wind turbine to be mounted to the mounting positions thereof, in movements from the lower portion of the tower.
Lift system mountable in a nacelle of a wind turbine
A lift system mountable in a nacelle of a wind turbine has a mounting interface removably securable to a generator in the nacelle of the wind turbine, and a knuckle boom rotatably and removably mounted on the mounting interface. The knuckle boom has an extendable boom arm having a translatable boom section slidably mounted on the boom arm. Modularity of the lift system permits lifting components of the lift system up to the nacelle using an existing service crane of the wind turbine, and rapidly dismounting the knuckle boom to permit closing doors of the nacelle in the event of inclement weather without dismounting all of the lift system components.
Methods and systems for manufacturing an impeller wheel assembly
Methods for manufacturing an impeller wheel assembly (e.g., an impeller wheel attached to one or more additional components) are provided. In one example, a method includes casting an impeller wheel without a hub feature in a mold and holding the cast impeller wheel in a fixed position using a holding plate during subsequent stages of fabrication (e.g., the addition of a shaft via friction welding).
WIND TURBINE LIFTING ARRANGEMENT
A wind turbine lifting arrangement includes a tower, a nacelle, a lifting platform and a lifting device attached to the lifting platform for lifting components to be installed in or deinstalled from the nacelle, the nacelle including a main frame attached to a top section of the tower, an attachment portion of the lifting platform being arranged underneath the nacelle and attached to the main frame. The lifting platform includes a lifting device portion provided adjacent to the attachment portion, the lifting device is attached to the lifting platform in the lifting device portion and the lifting device portion and the lifting device are arranged next to a longitudinal side of the nacelle which is one of two opposite longitudinal sides of the nacelle extending along a longitudinal axis of the nacelle and arranged between a top side and bottom side of the nacelle.
A WIND TURBINE TOWER ASSEMBLY DEVICE FOR MAKING A WIND TURBINE TOWER
A wind turbine tower assembly device comprising a tower interface configured to be attached to a wind turbine tower during construction of the wind turbine tower, a nacelle interface for being attached to a part of a nacelle of a wind turbine and arranged to place the nacelle above a free end of a wind turbine tower which is attached to the tower interface; a lifting structure configured to move the nacelle interface relative to the tower interface to create a space between the free end of the wind turbine tower and the nacelle interface; a unit receiving structure configured to insert a tower unit into the space; and a tower assembly structure configured for joining the tower unit to the free end of the tower.
Method for installing a wind turbine rotor blade
There is provided a method of installing a wind turbine rotor blade. A holding unit is releasably fixed at the exterior to the rotor blade without intervention in the surface of the rotor blade. A holding cable is fixed to the holding unit. The rotor blade is installed on the hub of the wind turbine, for which purpose the rotor blade is pulled up for example by means of a crane. The holding unit is released by changing the pitch of the rotor blade.
Installation of cables and other components in a wind turbine tower
A new method for installing one or more electric cables (60) in a wind turbine tower section (100) is provided. The method comprises providing the wind turbine tower section (100) in a substantially horizontal orientation and installing a zip line (20) inside the wind turbine tower section (100), between a first end (120) and a second end (130) of the wind turbine tower section (100). The method further comprises coupling a second end of the electric cables (60) to the zip line (20) at a location near the first end of the wind turbine tower section (100), drawing the second end of the electric cables (60) through the wind turbine tower section (100) along the zip line (20), decoupling the second end of the electric cables (60) from the zip line (20), and removing the zip line (20) from the wind turbine tower section (100). The method further comprises anchoring a first end of the electric cables (60) to the wind turbine tower section (100), at a location adjacent the first end of the wind turbine tower section (100), and anchoring the second end of the electric cables (60) to the wind turbine tower section (100), at a location adjacent the second end of the wind turbine tower section (100).
Method and Hoisting Yoke for Taking Up an Elongate Object
Described is a method for taking up an elongate object from a ground surface using a hoisting yoke coupled to a lifting means. A beam-like support frame of the hoisting yoke extends in a longitudinal direction of the object and slings provided at end parts of the support frame take up the object. The object is taken up in a sling by holding a first outer end of a sling with a first holding means provided at an end part of the support frame and letting it hang down from the first holding means to a position in the vicinity of the object; paying out a messenger line from the end part using a messenger line winch, feeding it under the object and coupling it to a second outer end of the sling hanging from the first holding means; taking in the messenger line so that the sling is carried under the object and to the relevant end part; and coupling the second outer end of the sling to a second holding means provided at the end part, thus forming one of the slings for the object.
Device and Method for Erecting a Wind Turbine with a Tower and Two Booms Extending from the Tower
Device for erecting a wind turbine with a floating foundation, a tower arranged on the floating foundation and two booms extending from the tower, with an energy conversion unit that is arranged in each case at a free end of a boom and has a rotor, characterized by an auxiliary tower with a rope system, connected to a winch, for lifting the energy conversion units that are connected by the booms to the tower of the wind turbine.
TOWER SECTION AND WIND GENERATING SET
A tower section and a wind generating set. The tower section comprises a tower section body and hoisting lugs, wherein through holes are provided in the sidewall of the tower section body, and an inner cavity of the tower section is communicated with the outside by means of the through holes; the hoisting lugs are provided in the through holes, are movable along central lines of the through holes, and can move between a first position where the hoisting lugs extend out of the tower section body and a second position where the hoisting lugs are retracted to the tower section body, so as to hoist the tower section. Because the hoisting lugs can selectively extend out, a tower hoist is not needed to be connected to a flange in a tower section hoisting process, and the hoist is mounted on the hoisting lugs.
