Wind turbine nacelle cooling
A wind turbine has a nacelle which houses operative components such as a transformer or converter which in use generate unwanted heat, the nacelle including an external nacelle cover (20) to form the outer nacelle enclosure, and provided with a panel (24) which overlies a bottom cover (22) region forming therewith a conduit for directing external air to one or more of the heat generating operative components for cooling purposes.
WIND TURBINE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND WIND TURBINE
A wind turbine support assembly includes a bedframe and a support structure, wherein the bedframe is adapted for attaching the support assembly to a wind turbine tower, wherein the support structure includes at least one beam, wherein a web section of the beam is attached to an attachment area of the bedframe by a bolted connection including at least one bolt arranged perpendicular to the web section, wherein on the side of the web section opposite to the attachment area at least one retaining means is arranged for holding a bolt or a nut, which is attached to the bolt, in a non-rotatable manner.
HELICOPTER HOISTING PLATFORM
The present invention discloses a helicopter hoisting platform for a wind turbine nacelle cover, the helicopter hoisting platform comprising a composite layer and a plurality of metal plates arranged on the outer surface of the composite layer, wherein the plurality of metal plates forms a conductive network electrically connected to a ground connection.
Devices and methods for determining deflection of rotor blades of a wind turbine
The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for measuring deflection of blades of a wind turbine. Examples include a light emitting and collection device mounted to the nacelle and configured to emit light in a direction within a substantially vertical plane. Examples include a method for operating a wind turbine including emitting light above a hub, receiving the light when reflected by a blade of the wind turbine, and, if the level of blade deflection is above a threshold, reducing blade loading of the blade before the blade reaches a vertically downward position. Examples include a method for monitoring deflection of a rotor blade of a wind turbine comprising emitting a light sheet, collecting reflections of the emitted light, and determining deflection of the rotor blade by determining a time during which the blade reflects the emitted light sheet.
A NACELLE FOR A WIND TURBINE
A wind turbine nacelle configured for mounting on a wind turbine tower and for supporting a rotor-supporting assembly, the nacelle comprising a main unit, and at least one auxiliary unit. The auxiliary unit accommodates at least one operative component, e.g. a converter, a transformer, an electrolysis cell, or a battery. An operative component having a similar function is accommodated in another auxiliary unit which thereby facilitate shared operation, and easy and fast maintenance or replacement of the operative component.
A NACELLE FOR A WIND TURBINE
A wind turbine nacelle configured for mounting on a wind turbine tower and for supporting a rotor-supporting assembly, the nacelle comprising a main unit, and at least two auxiliary units. To increase flexibility and improve assembly and maintenance procedures of the wind turbine, the auxiliary unit comprises at least two auxiliary units each accommodating at least one wind turbine component, e.g. a converter or a transformer. The auxiliary units are attached individually to the same wall of the main unit, e.g. to a side wall or a rear wall.
Fan and electromechanical apparatus
A fan includes an impeller rotating on a central axis, an impeller housing, a motor located on one side in an axial direction of the impeller and driving the impeller to rotate, and a motor housing. The impeller housing is provided with an air inlet. The fan further includes a pre-pressing portion expanding radially inward from an edge of the air inlet. The pre-pressing portion includes a pressing portion located on another side in the axial direction of the impeller and pressing, from the another side in the axial direction, an end portion of the impeller on the another side in the axial direction, and at least two connection portions connected between an outer periphery of the pressing portion and the edge of the air inlet. The connection portions are disposed obliquely with respect to the axial direction.
MULTIPORT PUMP AND ADAPTER KIT
A multiport pump and adapter kit for use with a water circulation system for a body of water includes a centrifugal pump assembly having a plurality of outlet ports oriented in different directions and at least one adapter having a first open end configured and dimensioned to be removably connectable to one of said outlet ports, a second open end configured and dimensioned to be removably connectable to a water circulation system, and a hollow body connecting the first open end and the second open end.
BACK-UP POWER SUPPLY FOR WIND TURBINES
The present disclosure relates to wind turbines comprising a tower, a nacelle mounted on the tower, a wind turbine rotor with a plurality of blades, and a wind turbine generator operatively coupled with the wind turbine rotor. The wind turbine further comprise one or more auxiliary wind energy converters arranged with the nacelle. The present disclosure further relates to methods for providing power to an auxiliary system of a wind turbine.
MULTIPLE UP-TOWER LIFTING APPLIANCES ON WIND TURBINES
A nacelle-mounted multiple-appliance lift system has a first lifting appliance and a second lifting appliance mounted in a nacelle of a wind turbine. The first and second lifting appliances are each mounted on main bearing housing securements, gearbox pillow blocks, or both the main bearing housing securements and the gearbox pillow blocks. The first and second lifting appliances share one or both of the main bearing housing securements and the gearbox pillow blocks. The system permits having multiple lifting appliances mounted at the same in the restricted space of the nacelle.
