On the sliding bearing element, a sliding surface is formed, which cooperates with a counterface, which is coupled with that ring element, to which the sliding bearing element is not fastened. The counterface is designed to be resilient.
Fuel compositions from light tight oils and high sulfur fuel oils
Methods are provided to prepare a low sulfur fuel from hydrocarbon sources, such as light tight oil and high sulfur fuel oil, often less desired by conventional refiners, who split crude into a wide range of differing products and may prefer presence of wide ranges (C3 or C5 to C20 or higher) of hydrocarbons. These fuels can be produced by separating feeds into untreated and treated streams, and then recombining them. Such fuels can also be formulated by combinations of light, middle and heavy range constituents in a selected manner as claimed. Not only low in sulfur, the fuels of this invention are also low in nitrogen and essentially metals free. Fuel use applications include on-board large marine transport vessels but also on-shore for large land based combustion gas turbines, boilers, fired heaters and transport vehicles and trains.
Oil field pump
An oil field pump installed within a pipe that connects to an oil field, feeds accumulated extraction oil in a predetermined direction and includes a rotor, a stator mounted on the outer circumference of the rotor, a flow path for flow of the extraction oil connecting an area formed within the rotor to an area formed between the rotor and the stator, a thrust bearing that supports the axial weight of the rotor and the stator, and a supply pipe that supplies a portion of the extraction oil in the flow path to the thrust bearing. The thrust bearing includes a protrusion part fixed to the outer circumference of the rotor and rotating as one piece with the rotor, and a facing part fixed to the stator and facing opposite a surface in the axial direction of the protrusion.

Pump
The present disclosure refers to a pump (1) comprising a rotor shaft (13) extending along a rotor axis (R), a bearing body (19) circumferentially encompassing the rotor shaft (13) and comprising a radially outer bearing surface (32), and a locking ring (25) circumferentially encompassing the rotor shaft (13) and limiting an axial movement of the bearing body (19) relative to the rotor shaft (13),
wherein the locking ring (25) comprises at least two radially inwardly protruding teeth (49, 51, 53, 55), wherein the locking ring (25) is radially expandable from a locking state to a mounting state against an elastic restoring force of the locking ring (25), wherein the locking ring (25) is, in the mounting state, positionable at a desired axial position on the rotor shaft (13), wherein the teeth (49, 51, 53, 55) are configured to press, in the locking state, against a radial outer surface (31) of the rotor shaft (13) by the elastic restoring force of the locking ring (25).

Nacelle for a wind turbine
A rotor bearing for bearing a rotor hub on a nacelle housing of a nacelle for a wind turbine has at least one inner ring element and at least one outer ring element, wherein at least one sliding bearing element is arranged between the inner ring element and the outer ring element, which sliding bearing element is fastened to the inner ring element or to the outer ring element. On the sliding bearing element, a sliding surface is formed, which cooperates with a counterface, which is coupled with that ring element, to which the sliding bearing element is not fastened. The counterface is designed to be resilient.
Automatic-aerodynamic pitch control for wind turbine blade
A wind turbine rotor blade assembly which incorporates automatic-aerodynamic control of the blade pitch angle is disclosed. The airfoil of the rotor blade (110) is free to rotate about a strategically located longitudinal blade axis which forms the spar stub (115) and is connected to the hub (120) of a horizontal axis wind turbine. The location of this blade axis is precisely set with respect to the turbine blade's aerodynamic center and center of mass. By further incorporating a reflexed airfoil with positive pitching moment this arrangement aerodynamically induces an automatic and self-regulating alignment of the rotor blade pitch such that the airfoil is always operating at or near optimal angle of attack. Details are disclosed on these strategic relationships which enable the successful operation of the new blade design.
Rotary machine with improved shaft
A rotary machine is disclosed, which includes a rotary shaft having a rotation axis, a first shaft end, and a second shaft end; a first bearing arrangement at the first shaft end; a second bearing arrangement at the second shaft end; a coupling flange mechanically connected to the first shaft end. The coupling flange is mechanically connected to the first shaft end by means of a first axial-contact coupling.
Bearing arrangement for a wind turbine and wind turbine
A bearing arrangement for a wind turbine including a bearing housing and a drive shaft, whereby the drive shaft is arranged within the bearing housing in an axial direction along a longitudinal axis of the bearing housing, the bearing arrangement further includes a downwind bearing and an upwind bearing, whereby the downwind bearing and the upwind bearing are arranged between the bearing housing and the drive shaft, wherein the downwind bearing and/or the upwind bearing is a radial bearing including multiple radial bearing pads, whereby each one of the multiple radial bearing pads is attached to one of a multiple radial bearing bodies of the radial bearing and the multiple radial bearing pads are arranged about the drive shaft is provided.
