Wind turbine blade comprising cylindrical metal inserts in a root region thereof
A wind turbine blade for a wind turbine is a shell structure of a fiber-reinforced composite and comprises a root region and an airfoil region. The root region has a ring-shaped cross section and comprises a cylindrical insert 7 embedded in the fiber-reinforced polymer so as to substantially follow the circumference of the root region. The cylindrical insert is provided with a number of mutually spaced threaded bores 12, 15 in a first end 9 thereof being accessible from the outside.
Root bushing for a blade root of a wind turbine rotor blade, a blade root, a wind turbine rotor blade and a wind turbine
A root bushing for a blade root of a wind turbine rotor blade, including a cylindrical bushing body and a flat contact body is provided. The contact body is provided on a face of the bushing body. This has the advantage that due to the provision of the contact body, the contact area between the root bushing and the pitch bearing is increased. In another embodiment, the root bushing includes a central bore which protrudes through the bushing body and the contact body. In another embodiment, an outer wall of the bushing body is provided with a connection structure for connecting the root bushing to a composite material of the wind turbine rotor blade.
Rotor
A rotor for a wind/water power machine that can reduce fluid resistance. A rotor provided with a hub and blades. A projected plane perpendicular to a rotational center axis line of the rotor, front edges of the blades protrude, in at least one part, forward in the rotational direction of the rotor relative to a first line segment; front edge protruding tips thereof are disposed in positions separated outward in the radial direction of the rotor from the outer peripheral edge of the hub by a length 0.4 to 0.6 times the length of the blade; and portions of the front edges of the blades that extend from the ends on the inside in the radial direction of the rotor to the front edge protruding tips are curved or bent convexly, in at least one part, rearward in the rotational direction of the rotor relative to a second line segment.
Wind turbine component for a wind turbine tower, wind turbine tower, rotor blade, wind turbine and method for producing a wind turbine component
Provided is a wind turbine component for a wind turbine, in particular for a wind turbine tower and/or a rotor blade, to a wind turbine tower, to a rotor blade, to a wind turbine and to a method for producing a wind turbine component. Provided is a wind turbine component for a wind turbine, in particular for a wind turbine tower and/or a rotor blade, comprising a first wall element with a first inner surface and a first outer surface arranged opposite the latter, a corrugated structural element, wherein the structural element is arranged on the first inner surface or on the first outer surface, wherein the first wall element is connected to the structural element.
Methods of semi-permanently attaching components on a wind turbine rotor blade
A rotor blade assembly of a wind turbine includes a first blade component and a second blade component arranged together at an interface. The interface includes a gap between the blade components. The rotor blade assembly also includes a re-closeable fastening assembly having first and second fastening members. The first fastening member is arranged with a surface of the first blade component or the second blade component. The rotor blade assembly further includes a flexible sealing member arranged so as to cover the gap. The second fastening member is arranged with a surface of the flexible sealing member to align with the first fastening member on the surface of the first blade component or the second blade component. Thus, the flexible sealing member is secured at the interface to each of the first and second blade components via the first and second fastening members.
