A card backer (2) configured to be supportingly arranged adjacent to a card (4) arranged in a sleeve (6) is disclosed. The card backer (2) comprises one or more arced corner portions (8) and arced edges (10). Hereby, it is possible to protect the card (4) against wear and damage during usage.

A device for holding playing cards, is disclosed. The device includes a base, wherein the base is configured to hold one or more playing cards. The device includes an opening in the base. The device includes a retaining device configured to provide tension or pressure to the stack of cards. The retaining device is configured to contact a surface of a top card of the one or more cards, and apply a restricting force to the surface, resulting in the one or more cards being retained between the retaining device and the base.

A device for holding playing cards, is disclosed. The device includes a base, wherein the base is configured to hold one or more playing cards. The device includes an opening in the base. A packing box for packaging of playing cards has, in an assembled state, a shape of a rectangular parallelepiped with six faces including front and rear faces, right and left side faces, and top and bottom faces. The packing box includes cut lines in two locations at a predetermined interval in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the rectangular parallelepiped, and a central band in a portion defined by the cut lines provided in the two locations. The right and left side faces of the packing box can be removed along the cut lines such that side edges of the playing cards within the packing box are exposed.
