MULTIPLE PASS SHUFFLER/SORTER AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A card shuffler and a method of operating a card shuffler is provided. The method includes the step of establishing a virtual deck structure defines a virtual card assignment, defined by a matrix, for a plurality of cards. Each card is associated with one of the cells of the matrix. The method includes a first pass including the steps of placing a set of cards into the card receiving area of the shuffling device and delivering the cards, using the shuffling device, into the associated first assigned card receiving pockets of a card receiver forming a partially shuffled set of card. A second pass includes the steps of placing the partially shuffled set of cards into the card receiving area of the shuffling device and delivering the cards, using the shuffling device, into the associated second assigned card receiving pockets of the card receiver forming a shuffled set of cards.

Systems and methods for providing ultraviolet (UV) sterilization, disinfection and decontamination of electronic gaming machines (EGMs), gaming chips, dice, playing cards, currency, TITO tickets, etc. The ultraviolet sterilization, disinfection and decontamination may include a singular or plurality of UV lamps of any type or style or UV LEDs or RGB-UV LEDs or any type or style of UV LEDs of at least such wavelengths to be effective in at least partially reducing or eliminating viruses or the like. The UV sources are mounted on, in or proximate to a variety of gaming devices or equipment such as EGMs, mechanical gaming machines, chip trays, chippers, dice holders, automatic card shufflers, bill validators, currency counting devices, currency dispensing devices, printers, magnetic card readers, playing card and currency sterilization, disinfection or decontamination storage mechanisms, ATMs, redemption machines, promotional kiosks, etc., or similar devices used in other industries.

A playing card machine and delivery mechanism thereof, and a playing card shuffling method are provided. The playing card machine includes a base and a machine core. The machine core is arranged on the base or inside the base, and the machine core includes a card receptor and a card dealer. The machine core can be driven to move up and down on the base by a machine core lifting drive mechanism. The card dealer is arranged at a center of the card receptor and is able to be driven by a rotation drive mechanism to rotate relative to the card receptor. The card dealer includes a card storage box, a card distribution mechanism, and a delivery mechanism. The card receptor is provided with multiple card reception positions around the card dealer.

A playing card machine and delivery mechanism thereof, and a playing card shuffling method are provided. The playing card machine includes a base and a machine core. The machine core can be driven to move up and down on the base by a machine core lifting drive mechanism. The card dealer is arranged at a center of the card receptor and is able to be driven by a rotation drive mechanism to rotate relative to the card receptor. The present disclosure includes, systems, devices, and methods for sterilizing objects, such as gaming equipment or gaming pieces. A composite card shuffling apparatus comprises a card input assembly that has a card input housing configured to accommodate cards, and a card input guiding device configured to move the cards out from the card input housing sequentially; a card slot rotating assembly that has a main body having card slots, and a rotating device configured to rotate the main body, so that the card slots respectively receive the cards from the card input housing; a card output assembly that has a card output housing, a card output driving device configured to move the cards from the slots respectively into the card output housing, and a transporting device configured to transport the cards inside the card output housing to the outside of the card output housing; and a card picking platform that has a card picking opening for receiving the cards transported by the transporting device.

A playing card handling device comprises an elevator platform configured to receive one or more cards from an input platform to form a shuffled set of cards, a card gripper positioned above the elevator platform, and configured to grip cards from the shuffled set of cards, and a processor configured to control the elevator platform to have a grip position for the card gripper to grip the shuffled set of cards, wherein the grip position is adjusted based, at least in part, on a correction value associated with a particular card insertion. A related method includes determining a grip position of an elevator platform of a card handling device based, at least in part, on a desired insertion location within a stack of shuffled cards as adjusted based on a corrective value that is different for a plurality of different insertion locations.

A playing card handling device comprises an elevator platform configured to receive one or more cards from an input platform to form a shuffled set of cards, a card gripper positioned above the elevator platform, and configured to grip cards from the shuffled set of cards, and a processor configured to control the elevator platform to have a grip position for the card gripper to grip the shuffled set of cards, wherein the grip position is adjusted based, at least in part, on a correction value associated with a particular card insertion. A related method includes determining a grip position of an elevator platform of a card handling device based, at least in part, on a desired insertion location within a stack of shuffled cards as adjusted based on a corrective value that is different for a plurality of different insertion locations.
