FASTENING MEANS FOR A TURBINE- OR VALVE HOUSING
A fastener for connecting a first housing part of a steam or gas turbine to a second housing part of the turbine which is made of a parent metal with a high degree of stress relaxation.
STEAM TURBINE VALVE ABNORMALITY MONITORING SYSTEM, STEAM TURBINE VALVE DRIVE DEVICE, STEAM TURBINE VALVE DEVICE, AND STEAM TURBINE PLANT
A steam turbine valve abnormality monitoring system according to an embodiment includes a detection unit detecting the state of a steam turbine valve or a steam turbine valve drive device, a determination unit, and an abnormality processing unit. Based on the detected result of the detection unit, the determination unit determines whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the opening degree control of the steam turbine valve. The abnormality processing unit issues an alarm or issues a turbine stop command when the determination unit determines that an abnormality has occurred in the opening degree control of the steam turbine valve.
Controlled flow turbine blades
The present application provides a turbine blade. The turbine blade includes a root section with a first curved section, a tip section with a second curved section, and number of mean sections positioned between the root section and the tip section. The mean sections each include a substantially prismatic shape.
System and method to apply multiple thermal treatments to workpiece and related turbomachine components
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a turbomachine component, including: a base portion configured for mounting on a rotor; an airfoil portion having a first end coupled to the base portion, and a second end opposite the first end. A creep resistance of the airfoil portion is greater than the base portion, and a fracture toughness of the airfoil portion is less than the base portion. A tip portion may be coupled to the second end of the airfoil portion. A creep resistance of the tip portion is less than the airfoil portion and greater than the base portion. A fracture toughness of the tip portion is less than the base portion and greater than the airfoil portion.
STEAM TURBINE AND METHOD FOR INTERNALLY COOLING THE SAME
A steam turbine and a method for internally cooling the same. The steam turbine includes an outer casing and an inner casing; a rotor having a balancing piston, the rotor being rotatably mounted inside the inner casing; and a steam flow channel formed between the inner casing and the rotor. Moving blades fitted with the rotor and stationary blades fitted with the inner casing are alternately arranged to form multiple stages of blade groups, and an interlayer for steam to circulate is formed between the inner casing and the outer casing. The multiple stages of blade groups include a first set blade staging and a second set blade staging; and the top of the balancing piston is provided with a first chamber and a second chamber. A first channel disposed in the inner casing connects the flow passage downstream of the first set blade staging to the first chamber; and a second channel connects the second chamber to the interlayer and connects the interlayer to the flow passage downstream of the second set blade staging.
STEAM TURBINE HAVING A STEAM SUPPLEMENTING STRUCTURE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREFOR
A steam turbine having a steam supplementing structure and an operating method therefor. The steam turbine includes an outer casing and an inner casing, a rotor having a thrust balancing piston, the rotor being rotatably mounted inside the inner casing; and a steam flow channel formed between the inner casing and the rotor. Impeller blades fitted with the rotor and guide blades fitted with the inner casing are alternately arranged to form multiple stages of blade groups. Steam is fed from the steam throughflow downstream of a first designated blade staging in multiple stages of blade groups to a thrust balancing piston chamber disposed between the inner casing and the thrust balancing piston of the rotor. An interlayer for the steam to circulate is formed between the inner casing and the outer casing, the interlayer including a supplemental steam chamber which can receive the steam from a sealed chamber between the rotor and the inner casing. The steam is mixed with supplemental steam fed into the steam supplementing chamber via steam supplementing pipelines. The mixed steam then returns, via the communicating pipe in the inner casing, to the steam throughflow downstream of the second designated blade staging in the flow channel.
Coal Fired Power Generation System And Supercritical CO2 Cycle System Thereof
A coal-fired power generation system and a supercritical CO.sub.2 cycle system thereof are provided. The supercritical CO.sub.2 cycle system includes a compressor unit and a turbine unit. The turbine unit includes a preceding stage heater, a preceding stage turbine, a last stage heater and a last stage turbine successively connected in series. An exhaust port of at least one of compressors in the compressor unit is in communication with the turbine unit through a split flow pipe, and a communication position between the split flow pipe and the turbine unit is located downstream of a suction port of the preceding stage turbine. An auxiliary regenerator and an auxiliary heater are provided at the split flow pipe, and the auxiliary regenerator is located upstream of the auxiliary heater.
System and method for the generation of heat and power using multiple loops comprising a primary heat transfer loop, a power cycle loop and an intermediate heat transfer loop
Methods and systems for generating power (and optionally heat) from a high value heat source using a plurality of circulating loops comprising a primary heat transfer loop, several power cycle loops and an intermediate heat transfer loop that transfers heat from the high-temperature heat transfer loop to the several power cycle loops. The intermediate heat transfer loop is arranged to eliminate to the extent practical the shell and tube heat exchangers especially those heat exchangers that have a very large pressure difference between the tube side and shell side, to eliminate shell and tube, plate type, double pipe and similar heat exchangers that transfer heat directly from the primary heat transfer loop to the several power cycle loops with very high differential pressures and to maximize the use of heat transfer coils similar in design as are used in a heat recovery steam generator commonly used to transfer heat from gas turbine flue gas to steam or other power cycle fluids as part of a combined cycle power plant.
