A ring for guiding variable-pitch blades and supporting an abradable coating for an aircraft turbomachine ring extends about an axis (X) and includes substantially radial orifices for mounting guiding sleeves intended each to receive a pivot of one of the blades. The ring may include a radially inner crown divided into sectors and supports the abradable coating. A radially outer annular ferrule may be divided into sectors and include the orifices for mounting the sleeves. In some embodiments, each ferrule sector is mounted about a crown sector by a circumferential sliding connection. The crown sector may include an immobilizer for rotationally immobilizing the sleeves of this ferrule sector about the axis.
GAS TURBINE ENGINE AND PANEL FOR A GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine for an aircraft includes: a flow path boundary, which delimits the flow path through the engine radially on the outside, and a lining, which lines the flow path boundary on the inside, at least along an axial section. Here, the lining includes a plurality of panels, which, in the circumferential direction of the flow path boundary, adjoin each other and which together line a circumferential area of 360, wherein each panel has two end faces, which each adjoin an end face of an adjacent panel. The panels are of beveled design at their end faces, such that two mutually adjoining panels form a V-shaped gap between them, the minimum clearance of which is realized at the inside of the panels. The panels can be sound-absorbing panels. Also disclosed is a panel for a gas turbine engine.
Aircraft gas turbine engine nacelle
An aircraft gas turbine engine nacelle comprises a thrust reversal arrangement. The thrust reversal arrangement comprises at least first and second circumferentially spaced fixed thrust reverser cascade boxes each comprising a plurality of thrust reverser vanes configured to direct air forwardly and circumferentially and at least one inter-leaved translating circumferential turning vane configured to direct air in a direction having a circumferential component. The circumferential turning vane is moveable from a stowed position provided between the first and second circumferentially spaced thrust reverser cascade boxes, and a deployed position axially rearwardly of the thrust reverser cascade boxes.
Cascade system and apparatus
A thrust reverser system may comprise a cascade radially positioned about a centerline of an engine or a nacelle centerline. Various cascade features may be positioned at a constant radius from the centerline while other features vary according to station and/or circumferential position.
Diffuser of a thermal energy machine and thermal energy machine
A diffuser of a thermal energy machine, in particular of a gas turbine, has a diffuser inlet, a diffuser outlet, and a plurality of air-guiding elements, wherein an air mass flow enters the diffuser through the diffuser inlet, and wherein the air mass flow that has entered the diffuser exits the diffuser through the diffuser outlet and flows off as a plurality of partial air mass flows by the air-guiding elements. At least two immediately adjacent air-guiding elements of the plurality of air-guiding elements are designed in such a way that the flow-off angles thereof with respect to the circumferential surface formed by the outlet opening of the diffuser outlet extending circumferentially in the circumferential direction differ from each other.
Seal segment assembly including mating connection for a turbomachine
A seal segment assembly for a turbomachine, in particular a gas turbine, including a first seal carrier and a second seal carrier, that are adjacently disposed in the circumferential direction, the first seal carrier having a first carrier base and at least one first sealing member that is joined to the first carrier base, and the second seal carrier having a second carrier base and at least one second sealing member that is joined to the second carrier base, the first sealing member and the second sealing member being formed by a plurality of cavities, that are adjacently disposed in the circumferential direction and in the axial direction, in particular evenly spaced, the cavities extending in the radial direction from the particular carrier base. The first carrier base and the second carrier base are intercouplable or are intercoupled in the circumferential direction by a mating connection assembly.
CONTROL RING FOR A STAGE OF VARIABLE-PITCH VANES FOR A TURBINE ENGINE
A control ring for a stage of variable-pitch vanes for a turbine engine includes at least one member for bearing on a casing and means for fixing the member. The member includes a bushing with an axial bore for the passage of the member or an element for supporting the member. A through-slot opens into the bore and allows for substantial radial deformation of the bushing. The member further includes an outer thread for screwing the bushing into a complementary thread of a hole in the body, thereby deforming the bushing. The member or support can be mounted and moved inside the bore, to a second position, in which the bushing is radially constrained and is tightly mounted on the member or support, which is thus immobilized in relation to the bushing.
TURBINE MODULE FOR A TURBOMACHINE
The present invention relates to a turbine module for a turbomachine, comprising a first flow bypass structure and a second flow bypass structure, said flow bypass structures being arranged in a hot gas duct, which is bounded by the turbine module and is designed to convey a hot gas and, namely, being arranged in succession in relation to a longitudinal axis of the turbine module in a direction of rotation, wherein, in relation to the bypass flow in the hot gas duct, the flow bypass structures each have a leading edge, and, downstream thereto, a trailing edge, and the second flow bypass structure is provided as a deflecting blade, wherein the second flow bypass structure has a smaller profile thickness than the first flow bypass structure, and wherein the hot gas duct is enclosed by a radial width.
