A nacelle assembly includes a fixed inlet segment and a translating inlet segment. The translating inlet segment includes a slider beam laterally between a pair of tracks of the fixed inlet segment. The slider beam is mated with and slidable longitudinally along the pair of tracks. The translating inlet segment is configured to translate longitudinally between a retracted position and an extended position. An aft end of the translating inlet segment is abutted against a forward end of the fixed inlet segment when the translating inlet segment is in the retracted position. An airflow inlet into an inlet passage of the nacelle assembly is opened longitudinally between the aft end of the translating inlet segment and the forward end of the fixed inlet segment when the translating inlet segment is in the extended position.

FAN MODULE WITH VARIABLE-PITCH BLADES FOR A TURBOMACHINE

The invention relates to a fan module with variable-pitch blades for a turbomachine, comprising a rotor (2) carrying blades (3), a stationary housing (7), a mechanism (11, 12, 13, 14, 20) for regulating the pitch of the blades (3), which is connected to the rotor, and a control means (16, 17) mounted on the stationary housing (7) and comprising a control part (18) that can be moved in translation according to an axis (X) of rotation of the rotor (2), and a bearing (19) for load transfer between the control part (18) and said mechanism, characterised in that it also comprises a stationary track (23) supporting the elastic restoring means (26, 27) which are arranged so as to exert an axial restoring force on the control part (18) towards a determined position, preferably corresponding to the blade (3) feathering.

RETENTION DEVICE FOR A COOLING TUBE FOR A TURBOMACHINE CASING

A retention device for at least one cooling tube of a cooling system of a turbomachine casing, the casing extending around an axial direction of the turbomachine, the retention device includes a fixing plate suited to being made integral with the casing and a retention element for the cooling tube. The retention device includes an adjustment system configured to adjust the relative position of the retention element with respect to the fixing plate and to absorb a relative movement between the retention element and the fixing plate.

Turbine engine tie rod systems

A gas turbine engine turbine section has tie rod assemblies interconnecting an inner diameter structure and an outer casing. Each tie rod has: an inner diameter end; an outer diameter end; and an eyelet of an outer diameter spherical bearing formed at the outer diameter end. A first clevis carries a spherical ball of the bearing, a shank of said clevis extending to an outer diameter (OD) end. A tensioning bolt is mated to a threaded opening in said clevis OD end whereby tightening said bolt applies a tension to said rod. A radial span between a center of the outer diameter spherical bearing and an inner diameter surface of the outer casing is at least 50% greater than that between an outer diameter (OD) surface of the outer ring and the center.
