Turbomachine comprising a heat exchanger in the secondary path
A turbomachine blade including a body that extends mainly in a plane defined by a main axis and a longitudinal direction, which is defined by a lower surface wall, an upper surface wall, a leading edge located at a first longitudinal end of the body and a trailing edge located at a second longitudinal end of the body, wherein the body of the blade includes a plurality of first pipes that extend mainly along the direction of the main axis, for circulation of a gas flow, and a plurality of second pipes that extend mainly along the longitudinal direction, for circulation of a second gas flow.
Cooling device for turbine nozzle guide vane by liquid metal with low melting point
Disclosed is a cooling device for a turbine nozzle guide vane with a low-melting-point metal as a flowing working media. A plurality of cooling channels and a cavity are arranged in a guide vane. The cooling device includes a flow divider, a collector, a radiator and an electromagnetic pump, the cooling device and the guide vane form a closed loop. Liquid low-melting-point metal or alloy thereof as the flowing working medium is driven by the electromagnetic pump to circularly flow in the closed loop and dissipate rapidly through the radiator. Air cooling is not adopted in the present disclosure, cooling air originally led out from a gas compressor is saved so as to increase the propelling power of an aircraft. Air film holes do not need to be formed in the outer surface of the guide vane so as to improve strength of the guide vane.
Heat pipe for a turbine engine
An assembly is provided for a turbine engine. This turbine engine assembly includes a turbine engine airfoil and a heat pipe. The heat pipe is configured with the turbine engine airfoil. The heat pipe includes a closed-loop internal fluid circuit.
Aircraft propulsion system including a heat exchanger system
An aircraft propulsion system, including a turbojet and a heat exchanger system including a main heat exchanger, a hot air supply pipe and regulating valve, a high pressure pipe bleeding high pressure stage hot air through a first valve, an intermediate pressure pipe bleeding intermediate pressure stage hot air through a second valve, a pipe transferring hot air to an air management system, a main supply pipe supplying fan duct cold air including a main regulating valve, an evacuation pipe expelling air to the outside, a sub heat exchanger, wherein the supply pipe from the regulating valve goes through the sub heat exchanger, a sub supply pipe supplying cold air from the main supply pipe, a sub evacuation pipe expelling air to the fan duct, a temperature sensor measuring hot air temperature exiting the main heat exchanger, and a controller controlling the valves according to the measured temperature.
Regulation system comprising a valve, a regulator, an actuator and a cooling system using heat pipes
A regulation system to regulate the flow rate of a hot air duct which comprises a shutter, an upstream air intake, a downstream air intake, a regulator and an actuator of the shutter with a first inlet connected to an outlet of the regulator and a cooling system comprising an outer radiator, a housing and a heat pipe housed in the housing and discharging the heat between the housing and the outer radiator, wherein the air streams coming from the upstream air intake and from the downstream air intake pass through the housing. Such a regulation system allows a better discharging of the heat by the action of the heat pipes.
Turbomachine fitted with a thermo-acoustic system
A turbomachine for an aircraft comprising a thermo-acoustic system associated with a fluid circuit allowing the turbomachine engine to be supplied with fluid, the thermo-acoustic system comprising an exchanger connected to the fluid circuit and through which the fluid that is to be cooled passes, an acoustic noise-attenuation structure forming, in full or in part, a wall of the duct of a fan duct, the structure being situated some distance from the exchanger, and a pulsating heat pipe comprising a tube extending between the exchanger and the acoustic noise-attenuation structure, the tube having a serpentine form with a plurality of elbows bent over at 180° housed alternately in the exchanger and the structure.
Aircraft turbomachine equipped with a thermoacoustic system
A turbomachine for an aircraft, comprising a thermoacoustic system associated with a fluid circuit that serves to supply the engine of the turbomachine with fluid. The thermoacoustic system comprises an exchanger which is connected to the fluid circuit and in which there flows a fluid that is to be cooled, an acoustic attenuation structure which is distinct from the exchanger and which forms all or part of a wall of the fan duct, and at least one heat-duct tube comprising a portion that is entirely received in the acoustic structure and a portion with an end that is received in the exchanger, and a single curved elbow with a non-zero angle between the two portions.
CENTRIFUGAL FAN FRAME BODY STRUCTURE
A centrifugal fan frame body structure includes a lower case body and a cover body. The lower case body has a bottom section and an outer wall section. The outer wall section is formed with a wind outlet. The cover body and the lower case body are correspondingly mated with each other to form a space. In the space, the lower case body and the cover body define therebetween a first height. The lower case body and the cover body define therebetween a second height at the wind outlet. The second height is larger than the first height. The height of the wind outlet is enlarged, whereby the wind outlet will not be blocked by the cooperative heat dissipation component (module) so that the flow field efficiency is enhanced and the noise is lowered.
HEAT TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING HEAT TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS
A heat transfer arrangement includes two or more heat transfer cells. The heat transfer cells together define a boundary between a higher temperature region and a lower temperature region. Each of the two or more heat transfer cells includes two or more walls defining a fluid tight cavity. One or more wick is fused to an inner surface of one or more of the walls to wick liquid from a lower temperature portion of the cavity to a higher temperature portion of the cavity. Combustors having heat transfer arrangements with heat transfer cells and methods of making heat transfer arrangements are also described.
