The first refrigerant solution is operable to absorb water from the exhaust gas as the exhaust gas passes through the first refrigerant solution. The absorber section is operable to route the flow of exhaust gas to the turbo-compressor after the flow of exhaust gas has passed through the first refrigerant solution.
SEMI-CLOSED CYCLE WITH TURBO MEMBRANE O2 SOURCE
Disclosed is an improved method and system of operating the semi-closed cycle, which both reduces parasitic loads for oxygen generation and for gas clean up, while also reducing, capital cost of the gas clean up plant (reduced drying requirement) and of the oxygen plant (enabling membranes vs. mole sieves). The invention is applicable to piston or turbine engines, and results in a near fully non-emissive power system via the Semi-Closed Cycle (SCC), in a manner which both captures carbon in the form of carbon dioxide, CO2, and in a manner which improves the efficiency and cost effectiveness of prior disclosures. The captured carbon is of a purity and pressure directly suitable for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), sequestration, or industrial use.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OXIDATION OF HYDROCARBON GASES
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods wherein a dilute hydrocarbon stream can be oxidized to impart added energy to a power production system. The oxidation can be carried out without substantial combustion of the hydrocarbons. In this manner, dilute hydrocarbon streams that would otherwise be required to undergo costly separation processes can be efficiently utilized for improving the power production system and method. Such systems and methods particularly can utilize dilute hydrocarbon stream including a significant amount of carbon dioxide, such as may be produced in hydrocarbon recovery process, such as enhanced oil recovery or conventional hydrocarbon recovery processes.

The fuel supply device (10) has the form of a hydrogen gas producing reactor system with at least one reactor (12) based on sorption enhanced steam methane reforming (SE-SMR) and/or sorption enhanced water gas shift (SE-WGS) of syngas The reactor (12) is connected in a closed loop with a regenerator (14) for circulating and regenerating a CO.sub.2 absorber between the reactor (12) and the regenerator (14). Additionally, there is a closed heat exchange loop (21) between the regenerator (14) of the hydrogen gas producing reactor system (10) and the downstream end of the combustor (24) or the upstream end of the turbine (26). A method of its use is also contemplated.
SUPERCRITICAL CO2 POWER CYCLE WITH DRY REFORMING OF METHANE
A power plant comprises a combustor for combusting first and second constituents to generate a gas stream, a turbine for rotation by the gas stream, a compressor to receive a first portion of the gas stream and provide compressed gas to the combustor, a recompressor configured to receive a second portion of the gas stream and provide compressed gas to the combustor, a generator to be driven by the turbine, and a methane reforming reactor configured to dry reform methane to provide the first constituent. A method of operating a power plant comprises operating a supercritical CO2 power cycle to turn a turbine, driving a generator with the turbine, extracting CO2 byproduct from the power cycle, reacting fuel and CO2 to produce a synthesis gas in a dry reforming of methane reactor, and mixing the synthesis gas with oxygen to execute a combustion process for the power cycle.
