SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AN ADJUSTABLE GAME BOARD
The present disclosure provides a three-dimensional game board having a base and a plurality of tiles positionable on the base. Tiles may be spaced apart from the base in an adjustment direction by spacers. The tiles may be movably supported by supports coupled to a frame. The supports may extend through cavities in the tiles and tiles may move in the adjustment direction while supported by the supports. The frame may be positioned on the base, and the act of positioning the frame on the base may cause certain tiles to be spaced apart from the base by corresponding spacers.
MODULAR FABRIC-UNIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GAME BOARDS
The present invention provides a modular fabric-unit with preferred embodiments for the construction of a multitude of different self-supporting game boards of different types, sizes and shapes, wherein the fabric-unit comprises an array of 3-dimensional square fabric-cells for game tiles or 3D game pieces and game board accessories, mounting slots in the form of cross-connectors for attaching game board accessories and a background graphic layer, a plurality of hermaphroditic edge connectors on all sides of the fabric-unit, whereby the hermaphroditic edge connectors make a strong connection with hermaphroditic edge connectors of an adjacent inverted fabric-unit of the same construction, and the fabric-unit comprising small profile crossbars and walls and preferably high optical transparency material to increase visibility of a background graphic layer, and matching edge-panels for providing a cosmetic perimeter to the game board and for attaching a background graphic layer.
Physical 3D Chess Cube with Extended Walls
A three-dimensional chess apparatus comprising a cube-shaped board with extended walls along certain edges. The cube features a 44 checkerboard pattern on each face. Walls extend from edges where adjacent squares are the same color, acting as gameplay barriers and providing ground clearance for pieces on the bottom face. Chess pieces are designed to be shorter than these walls, allowing for stable placement and movement. The game includes Frontier and Crossroads variants affecting pawn movement, and a Revolution variant allowing rotation of cube sections. The apparatus introduces new strategic elements through modified piece movement rules and three-dimensional play. A novel three-digit notation system, with the first digit representing the cube face, enables precise recording of piece positions, accommodating the 3D nature of the game board.
Scalable modular game system
Provided is a game system that includes game pieces, each having a perimeter that includes multiple edges, such that each edge of any individual one of the game pieces meshes with each edge of any other individual one of the game pieces, with all of the edges, across all of the game pieces, being identical to each other. Also, each of the edges is contoured such that when a first edge of a first piece is meshed with a second edge of a second piece, movement between the first piece and the second piece is limited, but the first piece and the second piece are not interlocked with each other so that they can be simply slid apart from each other.
3-DIMENSIONAL GAMING UNIT
A 3-dimensional game comprising a base with at least one coupled protruding suspension apparatus. A gaming cube rotatable about an axis and coupled with the one or more protruding suspension apparatus. A plurality of pieces, wherein at least a set of first pieces and a second set are allocated to a first player and a second player. During alterative play between at least the first player and the second player, a single piece is movable in an orthogonal direction to one of a plurality of spaces on a plurality of faces of the gaming cube, such that a player aligns respective pieces in a straight first line on a distinct face to achieve a point. A completion of the game results in the first or second player accumulating at least two points, such that at least two sets of consecutive pieces are placed in a straight line on distinct faces.
Multi-layer toy
A multi-layer toy having at least one outer layer adjacent a planar layer or a ball where both the outer layer and the adjacent planar layer or ball each contain related information such that, in play, the information on the outer layer is made to align with the related information on the adjacent planar layer or ball. The information can comprise depictions of objects, things, characters, animals, or words, for a matching game, or the information can comprise numbers for a counting or mental math game. The toy is preferably sized to be hand-held.
