The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to an interactive board game. The game includes a game board, one or more base pieces, a plurality of playing pieces, and at least one chance device (e.g., playing dice). The base pieces are inserted and/or adhered into apertures formed in the playing board and thus are used as foundations to support the playing pieces. The object of the game is to stack playing pieces vertically on the base pieces to create a tower structure. The playing pieces are constructed in a variety of shapes and sizes, each with an assigned value, such that successful stacking rewards the player with points.

This disclosure relates generally to a game mat. In one embodiment, the game mat has a first cup section and a second cup section. Each cup section includes a set of cup apertures arranged to hold cups for the game of beer pong. The game mat is made from a material that causes the cup apertures in the first set and the second set to lock cups into place. In this manner, the cups are stabilized thereby preventing spills during game play.

A surface base supports a plurality of light source nodes interconnected by pluralities of light transmitting elements. Light is directed upwardly through the light source nodes. Additionally, selected portions of the game play surface which overlay on top of a light source node define surface locations which include light transmissive elements constructed to avoid blocking the light therefrom. Selected surface features also include light transmissive elements to further avoid blocking light from the light source node and game play surface location. The surface base is formed in two segments and is supported upon a book-like housing which includes a mechanism for raising and lowering one of the surface base segments within the housing to facilitate complete closure thereof.

Additionally, included are turn pieces to remind a player of lost turns, up pieces and down pieces to remind the player of the direction of train movement along the board. The game can accommodate up to thirty players. Another version of the game provides a player-board to each player, which eliminates the need for the larger gameboard. The player-board is advantageous while playing the game in close quarters or while traveling in a vehicle. Also, another version of the game provides the game on an actual roll out map. All versions of the game are played the same way.
