The present invention relates to a strategy game comprising: (a) at least 2 panels, constituting together a board game, where each panel is divided by lines into a plurality of square spaces arranged into a grid; (b) a plurality of sets of fighting units, each set of said units having a color to identify the units of the set as belonging to a particular player, the units of each set being subdivided into a plurality of sizes and types; and (c) a plurality of sets of banners.

A table includes a table surface, a border, and an underside. A planar game board is disposed within the table, wherein the planar surface includes a plurality of scoring targets and a plurality of zones marked thereon. A simulated American football field piece is secured to the planar game board, so that playing pieces may pass underneath, across, over, or above the planar surface and simulated American football field piece. Play-indicating mechanisms are attached to the table. The play-indicating mechanisms are each configured to indicate one of a plurality of play options.

A game device includes first and second game pieces, and first and second boards. The first game piece and second game piece are different. The first board includes first and second squares on a top surface thereof. The first and second squares are aligned. The second board has first and second surfaces and includes third and fourth squares on the first surface. The second board is configurable on the first board. The first squares and the third squares are configured to overlap in a vertical direction when the second board is in a prescribed location on the first board. When the first game piece is configured at the first square and no game piece is configured at the third game square, and when the first square overlaps with the third square vertically, the first game piece is identifiable through the third squares.
