Tiles on shapes puzzle game
A tile-on-shape puzzle game is disclosed using a plurality of unique shape designs having one or more tile projections disposed on one or both faces of the shape. The tile projections are adapted to fit in a recess on a play tile. Optional play cards are used to provide clues or shape designations and scores. Shapes are played to form a puzzle, with each player selecting where to place a shape, thereby forming a unique puzzle each time the game is played. Tiles must fill every play space on a shape to form a word or numerical/shape sequence. Gameplay provides a means to simultaneously generate and solve puzzles. Play options include competitive or cooperative play, and may be varied based on age and skill level, such as limiting the word or sequence direction to left-right, up-down, diagonal, or a combination thereof, or forming pathways with the puzzle.
Remote Gaming Platform
The object of the invention is to provide a system that will allow multiple participants in remote locations to participate in a board game. The disclosure presented herein relates to a remote gameplay platform. Multiple instances of the platform may be combined to form a platform network, or a platform may be combined with virtual instances of the platform that would allow remote users to physically manipulate the board from remote locations.
BOARD GAME
Board game (1) with a board (2) having at least one playing surface (3) comprising multiple playing fields (4) and with playing pieces (5) and at least one holding device (6) for holding a playing piece (5) releasably attached to the playing field (4), with the board (2) being arranged such that the orientation of the playing surface (3) deviates from a horizontal orientation, wherein a rotating device (7) is provided for holding the playing piece (5) in a same vertical orientation for any rotation of the board (2) about an imaginary axis (A) substantially orthogonally to the playing surface (3).
TOKEN FOR BOARD GAMES
The invention has as its scope a token for board games comprising a rigid body (11) of substantially planar shape and having a substantially hexagonal perimeter, where on the outer sides of the perimeter of the rigid body (11) there are, in an alternating manner, an interlocking seat (12) and a attachment element (14), where the attachment element (14) is complementary to the interlocking seat (12), so that each of the interlocking seats (12) is configured to accommodate a respective attachment element (14) belonging to a different hexagonal token. The invention further comprises a prefabricated block (100) comprising a plurality of game tokens.
Pliable Travel Cribbage Board
An improved cribbage scoring device (6) composed of a pliable material (24), which is stored in a wrapped position around a deck of cards (14) and secured with a fastener (7). The pliable material is more lightweight, compactable, and versatile than previous art, allowing for improved ability to transport the device (6) and use during travel. Points are scored using pins (10) placed vertically into a series of dots representing points, which are reproduced on the pliable material. The pins (10) securely affix in the pliable material (24) allowing for play on instable surfaces and in variable environments. The pins (10) can also be woven flush with the pliable material (24), marking the dot representing the highest score achieved by each player in an unfinished game, thus allowing for the storage of the device (6) and continuation of play at a later place and time.
BASEBALL BOARD GAME
A baseball board game and method for playing same, wherein the board game includes means for observing a field baseball game and the method includes watching a field baseball game and using the actions of the field baseball players to determine the movement of markers on the game board.
Gaming unit
Disclosed is a gaming unit for a gaming system, the gaming system comprising the gaming unit and a plurality of playing pieces, each playing piece of the plurality of playing pieces comprising a magnet and having an identifier. The gaming unit comprises: a play zone for arranging one or more playing pieces of the plurality of playing pieces on the gaming unit; a control unit; and a first magnetic unit configured to generate or alter a magnetic field for magnetically affecting one or more playing pieces arranged in the play zone. The first magnetic unit being operationally connected to the control unit. The control unit is configured to detect the identifier of a playing piece arranged in the play zone and responsive to the detection of one more particular identifiers generate a control signal controlling the first magnetic unit to generate or alter a magnetic field thereby magnetically affecting one or more playing pieces in the play zone.
MULTISENSORY LEARNING DEVICES AND SYSTEM FOR TEACHING USING THE METHOD OF MULTISENSORY LEARNING
A multisensory learning system incorporates a plurality of connectable multisensory elements. Each multisensory element may be a piece, a tile, or a block, and includes a surface containing a single character recessed into the surface to form a track. The track may guide a user's finger into the recessed area containing a tactile pattern at a base thereof. The tactile pattern heightens the sensory perception of the character to aid in learning. Each multisensory element is capable of being attached to another multisensory element in order to string characters together. In use, tracing of the tactile pattern of the character triggers the combination of sensations of kinesthetic learning through the motion of tracing and tactile learning through the feel of the tactile pattern in the recessed characters. This may be combined with audiovisual learning by looking at the character(s) and speaking the name.
Games
A game comprises a matrix that includes a central core and a plurality of stems emanating from the central core, with the lengths of the stems and the orientations of the stems such that the outer ends (or terminals) of the stems are on the surface of a cube, and playing pieces for attachment to the outer ends (or terminals) of the stems.
