System and methods for game play
Players attempt to be the first person to move from the start of the board puzzle piece to the end of board. The game is played in at least three phases, with each phase utilizing different game pieces. Phase one consists of creating a puzzle pattern by placing background puzzle pieces on the puzzle game board and connecting background puzzle pieces already on the board. Phase two consists of placing color overlay puzzle pieces on top of the background puzzle pieces that make up the puzzle pattern. Phase three is accomplished by each player selecting a playing card and then either strategically migrating their creature by moving contiguously between the creature spots or by jumping from a color overlay creature spot to a different color overlay creature spot, as described on the playing card selected. The game ends when a player moves off the end of board.
Board Game with Levitating Magnetic Game Pieces in a Race
The game consists of a planar game board (10), a series of vertically extended pegs (18) along a track, and magnetic game pieces (20) that freely slide down pegs (18). Each player selects a plurality of game pieces (20) of one color to differentiate from other players' game pieces (20). The object of the game is to be the first player to move all of his game pieces (20) from start (14) to finish (16). Players, in turn, roll dice, a chance device, and move game pieces (20) as indicated. Players' magnetic game pieces (20) interact in exciting and unexpected ways. A game piece (20) landing on a peg (18) above another game piece (20) will either attract and capture, or repel and levitate, depending on their relative magnetic orientations, another element of chance. When a game piece lands on particular pegs (18) or tiles (12), the player draws a random card, another element of chance, which directs surprise moves such as forward, backward or flipping.
Game board assembly
A game board assembly is configured to do play an adjacent ball game. The game board assembly has a game board further comprising thirty-six cavities arranged in a six-by-six grid. A plurality of posts is arranged above, beneath, to the left and to the right of each cavity. A plurality of rubber bands is wrapped around each row of the plurality of posts. Netting posts are arranged on outer edges of the game board. A net is arranged on the netting posts. bouncing a ball onto the game board results in the ball being directed in to one of the thirty-six cavities.
Challenge cribbage game device and method
A challenge cribbage game comprising a cribbage board having at least two parallel player routes of 122 player holes along a path from a start position to a finish position, a single player hole at the finish position, and a plurality of challenge holes adjacent specific player holes along the parallel routes; providing a standard deck of cribbage playing cards; at least two pairs of matching player pegs and at least six additional challenge pegs; a list of challenge conditions, each corresponding to a challenge peg; placing each pair of matching player pegs in the first two holes of each player route; placing each challenge peg in a selected challenge holes; commencing game play consistent with the rules of cribbage; and varying game play from by following the directions of each challenge each time a player peg lands in a player hole adjacent a challenge hole containing a challenge peg.
Word board game apparatus and method
A game apparatus having a case, cubes, and tiles. The method of playing the game involves placing or removing tiles on or from said cubes, and then manipulating handles or knobs on the case to transform a row or column of cubes and the associated tiles. During the course of game play, a matrix of visible active tiles is dynamically manipulated by users to achieve game goals.
