A hydraulic system for a work machine includes a first switch valve and a first return circuit. The first switch valve is switchable between a confluent position and an isolation position. The first switch valve is switched to the confluent position such that a first operation fluid tube is connected to a second operation fluid tube and a first transmission fluid tube is connected to a second transmission fluid tube. The first switch valve is switched to the isolation position such that the first operation fluid tube is disconnected from the second operation fluid tube and the first operation fluid tube is disconnected from the second operation fluid tube.

Provided is a hydraulic drive system for a work machine configured with a single solenoid proportional valve for a regeneration circuit, wherein substantially the same actuator speed can be secured irrespective of whether or not hydraulic fluid discharged from a hydraulic actuator is regenerated for driving of another hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic drive system includes: a regeneration line that connects a bottom-side hydraulic chamber of a hydraulic cylinder 4 to a portion between a hydraulic pump device 50 and a second hydraulic actuator 8, and a regeneration flow rate adjustment device that supplies, at an adjusted flow rate, at least part of the discharged hydraulic fluid to a portion between the hydraulic pump device 50 and the second hydraulic actuator; a discharge flow rate adjustment device that discharges, at an adjusted flow rate, the discharged hydraulic fluid to a tank; one electric drive device 22 that simultaneously controls the regeneration flow rate adjustment device and the discharge flow rate adjustment device; and a control unit 27 that outputs a control command to the electric drive device in such a manner that falling speed of a first driven body does not vary significantly, irrespective of the magnitude of the regeneration flow rate caused by the regeneration flow rate adjustment device.

VEHICLE-HEIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM

A vehicle-height control system includes: a fluid supply and discharge device including a compressor configured to suck fluid, and a tank configured to supply the fluid; an actuator-side passage connected to the fluid supply and discharge device; a vehicle-height control actuator provided for a wheel and connected to the actuator-side passage via a vehicle-height control valve; and a vehicle height controller configured to control a vehicle height for the wheel by controlling the fluid supply and discharge device and the vehicle-height control valve to control supply and discharge of the fluid in the vehicle-height control actuator. The vehicle height controller includes a start controller configured to open the vehicle-height control valve after establishing communication between the actuator-side passage and at least one of the tank and the compressor in a state in which the vehicle-height control valve is closed at a start of control of the vehicle height.

VEHICLE-HEIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM AND PRESSURE SOURCE DEVICE

A vehicle-height control system includes: a fluid supply and discharge device including a compressor device and a tank storing fluid pressurized by the compressor device; a vehicle-height control actuator corresponding to a wheel and connected to the fluid supply and discharge device; a vehicle height controller that controls a vehicle height for the wheel by controlling the fluid supply and discharge device to control supply and discharge of fluid to and from the vehicle-height control actuator; a tank pressure controller that controls a tank pressure; and a fluid supply controller that supplies the fluid to a low pressure portion by controlling the fluid supply and discharge device at start and/or termination of at least one of control executed by the vehicle height controller and control executed by the tank pressure controller. The low pressure portion is at least a portion of the fluid supply and discharge device.

The hydraulic cylinder can include a first port, a second port, and a third port. The first port can be located proximate the first end. The second port cane be located proximate the second end. The third port can be located in between the first port and the second port. The manifold can include a first valve and a second valve. The first valve can be in fluid communication with the first port and the third port. The second valve can be in fluid communication with the second port and the third port.

Hydrostatic Drive

A hydrostatic drive includes a diesel engine and a hydrostatic adjustable machine which supplies multiple consumers in normal operation as a pump. The machine has a pressure/flow regulator to which is communicated, according to the load-sensing principle, the highest load pressure of the consumers, in particular when the machine is operated as a pump. In order to realize a start/stop function of the diesel engine, a previously charged high-pressure reservoir supplies the hydrostatic machine, which then acts as a starter motor for the diesel engine. In order to switch from pump to starter motor, the hydro-machine is adjusted over zero. In order for this switch to take place quickly and reliably, the pressure/flow regulator is deactivated by means of a switching valve and the adjustment device is supplied with an adjustment pressure medium via the switching valve, which medium is taken from the high-pressure reservoir or from an auxiliary reservoir.

The hydraulic drive system for a work machine includes: a regeneration line that connects a bottom-side hydraulic chamber of a hydraulic cylinder to a portion between a hydraulic pump and a second hydraulic actuator; a regeneration flow rate adjustment device that supplies at least part of the hydraulic fluid discharged from the bottom-side hydraulic chamber to a portion between the hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic actuator through the regeneration line; a differential pressure calculating section that reads a pressure in the bottom-side hydraulic chamber of the hydraulic cylinder detected by a first pressure sensor and a pressure between the hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic actuator detected by a second pressure sensor, and calculates a differential pressure, or a differential pressure sensor; and a control unit that controls the regeneration flow rate adjustment device such as to gradually increase the flow rate of the hydraulic fluid flowing through the regeneration line according to an increase in the differential pressure calculated by the differential pressure calculation section or in the differential pressure detected by the differential pressure sensor.

A reaction member is also placed within the housing axial passage spring biased by a transfer spring from the intermediate piston. The housing has a latching port allowing pressure to latch the intermediate piston in position to set the force which is transmitted to the reaction member.
