A controller is configure to compute a first required pump flow rate for each of operation amounts of a plurality of operation devices, compute a second required pump flow rate greater than the first required pump flow rate for the same operation amount for each of the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices, select as a final required pump flow rate either smaller one of a sum total value of the first required pump flow rates computed for the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices and a maximum value of the second required pump flow rates computed for the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices, and control a regulator in such a manner that the delivery flow rate of the hydraulic pump and the final required pump flow rate will be equal.
LINEAR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM
A linear actuator system includes a linear actuator and at least one integrated pump assembly connected to the linear actuator to provide fluid to operate the linear actuator. The integrated pump assembly includes a pump with at least one fluid driver comprising a prime mover and a fluid displacement assembly to be driven by the prime mover such that fluid is transferred from a first port of the pump to a second port of the pump. The pump assembly also includes two valve assembles to isolate the pump from the system. The linear actuator system also includes a controller that establishes at least one of a speed and a torque of the at least one prime mover to exclusively adjust at least one of a flow and a pressure in the linear actuator system to an operational set point.
LOAD-HANDLING VEHICLE
Load-handling vehicle comprising: a load-handling member, a jack (4) for lifting the load-handling member, comprising a lifting chamber (5) and a lowering chamber (6), a fluid source (7), a first fluid connection (8) from the lifting chamber (5) to the source (7), a second fluid connection (9) from the lowering chamber (6) to the source (7), the first connection (8) comprising a safety valve (10) that is open in the direction of the fluid source (7) towards the lifting chamber (5), and that is normally closed in the direction of the lifting chamber (5) towards the fluid source (7). A valve (11) arranged on the second link (9) is sensitive to the pressure of the portion of the first link (8) extending between the valve (10) and the source (7), and a unidirectional fluid circulation line (12), which can be closed according to the pressure weighing on the portion of the second fluid connection (9) between the valve (11) and the source (7), connects the first and second connections (8, 9).
Flow controller and driving apparatus including the same
A flow controller that changes the flow rate of air exhausted from an air cylinder in mid-stroke includes a first switching valve displaced from a first position to a second position under the effect of pilot air, and causing one port of the air cylinder to communicate with a first channel at the first position, exhausting air exhausted from the one port of the air cylinder while reducing the flow rate of the air using a first regulating valve at the second position. Since the pilot air is taken into the first switching valve from a second channel in a system different from the system of the first channel, a second regulating valve can be adjusted without being affected by the degree of opening of the first regulating valve.
Control system and method for an electro-hydraulic servo-actuator, in particular of a turbopropeller engine
A control system (50) for an electro-hydraulic servo-actuator (26) envisages: a controller (55), to generate a control current (I.sub.c), designed to control actuation of the electro-hydraulic servo-actuator (26), implementing a position control loop based on a position error (e.sub.p), the position error (e.sub.p) being a difference between a reference position (Pos.sub.ref) and a measured position (Pos.sub.meas) of the electro-hydraulic servo-actuator (26); and a limitation stage (58), coupled to the controller (55) to provide a limitation of the actuator speed of the electro-hydraulic servo-actuator (26); the limitation stage (58) limits a rate of change of a driving current (I.sub.d) to be supplied to the electro-hydraulic servo-actuator (26), in order to limit the actuator speed.
