Clamping device

A clamping device (100) includes a first movable member (210) that is movable along an extending direction of a first body interior space (120), a disc spring (260), an annular spring (270), a spring (280) and a collet (300). A driving mechanism (400) has a second movable member (430) that moves along an extending direction of a second body interior space (130) with rotation of a rotary member (410). When the rotary member is rotated in one direction, the first movable member moves toward an oil-filled closed space (121) and the clamping device is set to a clamping mode that will hold a tool holder (510). On the other hand, when the rotary member is rotated in the opposite direction, the first movable member moves towards the side opposite of the oil-filled closed space and the clamping device is set to an unclamping mode that will release the tool holder.

Agricultural baler having a quarter turn with a spring loaded lock arrangement

An agricultural baler including a frame and a quarter turn attached to the frame. The agricultural baler further includes a transport lock associated with a lateral end of the quarter turn for locking the quarter turn in a transport position. The transport lock includes a lock plate with a first hole receiving a first fastener at one pivot location, a second hole receiving a second fastener attached to and extending from a respective lateral end or the frame, and a third hole for receiving a latch pin extending from another of the respective lateral end or the frame. The transport lock further includes a biasing arrangement for biasing the third hole in the lock plate toward the latch pin when the latch pin is positioned within the third hole.

SHIPPING STRAP ASSEMBLY FOR A VIBRATORY SCREENING MACHINE
20170057735 · 2017-03-02 ·

A shipping strap assembly protects the isolator mechanism of a vibratory screening machine against exceeding its elastic limits. The isolator mechanism is pivotally connected between shafts on the machine frame and the machine basket. The protective assembly includes a distally narrowing boss on at least one of the shafts. A rigid strap has two apertures, one contoured to receive and ride on the boss and the other contoured to receive the other shaft, spaced to maintain the distance between the shaft axes within an elastic limit of the isolator mechanism. The narrowing boss provides leeway for easy manual alignment of the mechanism shafts with the strap apertures, and the narrowing boss and contour of the other aperture facilitate restoration toward its normal load length, of an elastically distorted mechanism.

A recliner handle with an overload protection device is provided for a vehicle seat having a recliner attached to a recliner B-bracket. The recliner handle is attached to a handle spline having a disc shaft aperture configured to engage with a disc shaft of the recliner. A stop flange attached to the handle spline is configured to frictionally engage with an overload stop attached to the recliner B-bracket. The handle spline is rotatable in a first rotational direction between a first position wherein the stop flange is frictionally engaged with the overload stop and the disc shaft aperture is disengaged from the disc shaft and a second position wherein the disc shaft aperture engages the disc shaft. Rotation of the handle spline in a second rotational direction from the first position is restricted by the stop flange frictionally engaged with the overload stop.
