Furniture assembly

A furniture assembly and/or a mechanical coupling system for coupling furniture parts together to form an assembled article of furniture. The furniture assembly may include first and second furniture parts, each of which includes a board or other structural member and a coupler. The first furniture part may include a male coupler attached to the board and the second furniture part may include a female coupler attached to the board. The male and female couplers may be coupled together to thereby couple the first and second furniture parts together to form the assembled article of furniture. The male and female couplers may include engagement features that facilitate the coupling of the furniture parts together and to prevent them from becoming detached during normal use of the assembled article of furniture.

A system of panels is provided for use as panels for walls, doors and storage containers, where these panels can be quickly and conveniently assembled to build a variety of modular storage containers or other structures. The panels can include straight panels, L-panels, door end panels, door landing panels, and swivel hinge panels.

CABINET ASSEMBLY

A kit is provided that, when assembled, forms a unit of furniture. The kit includes side panels that can reversibly slide into an opening formed in the sides of the front and side panels. The kit may include multiple locking pins to restrict movement of the top and side panels. The kit may include positioning wedges and/or locking wedges to restrict relative movement of the panels and thus improve the stability of the unit. Also provided are methods of assembling the unit of furniture.

WALL HANGING SYSTEM

A wall hanging system by which a wall dcor item such as a ledge, a frame, artwork, or the like may be mounted to and hung from a wall. The wall hanging system may include a first mounting assembly that is coupled to the wall and a second mounting assembly that is coupled to the wall dcor item. The first and second mounting assemblies may be engaged to mount the wall dcor item from the wall. One of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a post and the other of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a cavity. The post may be inserted into an insertion portion of the cavity and then slid to a nesting portion of the cavity to lock the first mounting assembly to the second mounting assembly.

Component manufacturing method and component manufacturing system

A component manufacturing method includes a step of calculating, for a plurality of keyholes formed on a skin and disposed in a row along a first axial direction on the skin, a first imaginary line that passes an average position in a second axial direction perpendicular to the first axial direction and is parallel to the first axial direction, a step of calculating, for a plurality of keyholes formed on a frame and disposed in a row along a third axial direction on the frame, a second imaginary line that passes an average position in a fourth axial direction perpendicular to the third axial direction and is parallel to the third axial direction, and a step of superimposing the skin and the frame such that the first imaginary line and the second imaginary line coincide.

Cabinet assembly

A kit is provided that, when assembled, forms a unit of furniture. The kit includes side panels that can reversibly slide into an opening formed in the sides of the front and side panels. The kit may include multiple locking pins and cleats to restrict movement of the top and side panels. The kit may include positioning wedges and/or locking wedges to restrict relative movement of the panels and thus improve the stability of the unit. Also provided are methods of assembling the unit of furniture.

MECHANICAL CONNECTION FOR PANELS
20200263714 · 2020-08-20 ·

Mechanical connection for panels at their edge sides (5, 10) which are to be connected to one another, wherein adjacent first and second panels (1, 2) can be locked in the horizontal and vertical direction by a substantially perpendicular joining movement, wherein, for vertical locking, a locking edge (8) is arranged on the first panel (1) and a locking element (6), which can be displaced relative to the panels (1, 2), is arranged on the second panel (2), which locking element can be displaced behind the locking edge (8) by a pivoting movement. The locking element (6) has a locking projection (17) for displacing behind the locking edge (8) and an arcuate guide arm (16) which is guided in a guide groove (7) of the second panel (2) and is designed to be partially withdrawn from the guide groove (7) with a rotary or pivoting movement of the locking element by virtue of a leg (18), which projects from the guide groove (7), of the locking element (6) coming into contact with the first panel (1) when being set down in a region below the locking edge (8).
