Device and method for fastening a vehicle accessory
The fastening device includes a nut (1) and a screw (2) coupled by being screwed together, the screw (2) being movable with respect to the nut (1), wherein the screw (2) comprises a head (3) provided with a washer (4) able to tilt in any adjustment direction, the axis of the washer (4) able to move within an angle by tilting with respect to the axis of the screw (2). A fastening method includes the steps of vertically introducing the fastening device in a polygonal hole until a seal (6) butts against the roof of the vehicle, and rotating the device in a counterclockwise direction until it butts against the same. The fastening device allows a function of adjustment to be carried out and compensates for the lack of parallelism and tolerance between the fastened accessory and the body of the vehicle.
LOCATING STRUCTURE
A locating structure includes a fixture and a locating member. The fixture includes a body and a fastener, wherein the fastener is movably provided at the body. The body is configured to assemble with a first object, and the fastener is configured to fasteningly connect to a second object or be removed from the second object. The locating member is movably assembled with the body, and the locating member may press against or drive the fastener to locate the fastener at a located position, or the locating member may move or drive the fastener to locate the fastener at a locating-released position. Thus, the locating member may be moved to locate the fastener at the located position or at the locating-released position, so as to complete coupling or separation of at least two objects, achieving the effect of repeated quick coupling and separation.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT WITH ANGULAR COMPENSATION FUNCTION
An arrangement for fastening first and second components with automatic compensation in spacing between the components has a base element with first and second axial ends and a holding structure for holding the base element in an opening of the first component. An adjusting unit screwable into the base element has a driver unit. A fastening screw is connectable to the adjusting unit via the driver unit, such that, when the fastening screw is rotated, the adjusting unit can be rotated conjointly and moved into contact with the second component. The holding structure has a holding segment arranged such that, by the holding segment, an angle between the first and second component can be compensated such that, when the adjusting unit makes contact with the second component, a longitudinal axis of the fastening arrangement runs perpendicular to a plane of the second component.
VARIABLE HIGH ASPECT ROWING OAR
The invention relates to an offset joint for an oar to provide an offset angled and/or articulable blade, where the offset joint is an adjustable locking joint mounted on the outboard shaft end of the oar shaft, having a variable offset angle from 1-35 degrees to a cylindrical axis of the elongated shaft.
Formwork anchor receptacle
The present disclosure relates to a formwork anchor receptacle for arrangement on a bearing element of a formwork element, having a receptacle element, which has a receptacle opening for insertion of an anchor rod and a ball section for mounting on the mounting element of the formwork element, and having a retaining apparatus for retaining the receptacle element on the bearing element of the formwork element, wherein the retaining apparatus has a spacer element for contacting the bearing element of the formwork element, wherein the spacer element has an mounting opening for mounting on the receptacle element and a formwork device having such a formwork anchor receptacle.
Connector mechanism for a boat chair, a boat chair incorporating the connector mechanism, a boat including the boat chair with the connector mechanism, and/or methods of making and/or retrofitting boat chairs with the same
A connector mechanism for boats that can be retrofit into existing seats or manufactured therewith which preferably allows a person to recline and lounge in a boat chair that may have previously only been suited for sitting upright.
Systems and methods for connecting a structural member to a pile
A connecting system for connecting a pile to a structural member has a core portion, a first interface portion, and a second interface portion. The core portion defines a system axis. The first interface portion defines a reference plane and is adapted to be connected to the core portion and the structural member. The second interface portion is adapted to be connected to the core portion and the pile. The second interface portion fixes a position of the system axis relative to the pile. The core portion allows adjustment of a position of the reference plane relative to the system axis.
Bicycle seat attachment device
A bicycle seat attachment device for attaching a bicycle seat to a bicycle seat post is disclosed having a pin and a receiver. The pin has an upper pin and a lower pin that are dimensioned and configured to receive rails of the bicycle seat. The receiver is disposed on the bicycle seat post. The lower pin has a depending male portion that is dimensioned and configured to a female central opening of a receiver. The female central opening extends between a top surface and a bottom surface of the receiver. The depending male portion rotates within the female central opening between a restricted position and a release position. In the restricted position, the male portion locks the bicycle seat to the receiver and when the male portion is in a release position, the bicycle seat is releasable from the receiver.
HOLLOW-CYLINDRICAL BASE ELEMENT OF A CONNECTING UNIT
A hollow-cylindrical base element of a connecting unit for connecting a first component to a second component with a distance therebetween has an outer side, a threadless inner side, adjacent to a first axial end has a first drive feature and a first inner diameter, and adjacent to a second axial end a pivoting element with a threadless passage opening having a second inner diameter smaller than the first inner diameter. A first outer thread is provided between the first and the second axial end, wherein the first outer thread, when used in the first component, is in engagement therewith. The pivoting element is at least partially in engagement with the inner side of the base element in such a form-fitting manner that it is immovable along a longitudinal axis of the base element and is pivotable relative to the base element.
ARTICLE-FIXING DEVICE
An article-fixing device includes an adjustment mechanism and a protruding portion. The adjustment mechanism is interposed between a first plate and a second plate and is joined to a lower surface side of the first plate. The protruding portion is provided integrally with the adjustment mechanism. The protruding portion fixes an article to an upper surface of the first plate.
