BUS BAR ASSEMBLY WITH PLATED ELECTRICAL CONTACT SURFACE

A bus bar assembly includes a bus bar formed of a first electrically conductive material having a planar contact portion. The bus bar defines a first bore extending through the contact portion. The bus bar assembly further includes a contact insert formed of a second electrically conductive material that has a greater hardness than the first electrically conductive material. The contact insert defines a first surface that is mechanically and electrically connected to the contact portion of the bus bar. The contact insert defines a second surface this is plated with a third electrically conductive material which is different than the second electrically conductive material. The contact insert defines a smooth second bore coaxial with the first bore and extending from the first surface to the second surface.

A buoyant fastener structure includes a body portion and a fastening element. The body portion has a rotation-preventing portion and a position-limiting portion. The fastening element has a position-corresponding rotation-preventing portion, a position-corresponding position-limiting portion and a fastening portion. The rotation-preventing portion and the position-corresponding rotation-preventing portion prevent each other from rotating. A rotation-preventing buoyancy level exists between the rotation-preventing portion and the position-corresponding rotation-preventing portion. The position-limiting portion corresponds in position to and limits the position of the position-corresponding position-limiting portion. Therefore, the body portion is coupled to a first object, whereas the fastening portion is coupled to or removed from a second object, so as for the first and second objects to be coupled together and separated, repeatedly and quickly. Furthermore, the second object coupled to the first object is movable on the fastening element to adjust the position of the second object.

SCORED SPACER ELEMENT SERVING TO OBTAIN A SPACER WASHER POSITIONED BETWEEN PARTS OF AN ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING AT LEAST TWO PARTS USING AT LEAST ONE SUCH SCORED SPACER ELEMENT

A dual-sleeve, locking adjustment arrangement includes a position-sensitive component comprising an aperture, an outer eccentric sleeve disposed in the aperture, and an inner eccentric sleeve disposed in the outer sleeve. Rotation of the outer sleeve with respect to the position-sensitive component and the inner sleeve drives rotation of the position-sensitive component to adjust an angular position of the component.

Bolt connection for connecting two flanges

A bolt connection is provided for connecting two flanges. The bolt connection includes a threaded bar extending through a hole of a first flange and a hole of a second flange, the first flange abutting the second flange; an anti-fatigue sleeve; and a nut. The anti-fatigue sleeve is disposed on the threaded bar on the side of the first flange between the nut and the first flange, the nut is configured to be screwed onto the threaded bar and is configured to press the anti-fatigue sleeve against the first flange to fasten the first flange and the second flange together.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR RETAINING A FASTENER RECEIVER
