Roof mounting system

A roof mount assembly mounts a structure to a roof having a rafter and a substrate supported by the rafter. The roof mount assembly includes a piece of flashing positioned on the substrate. The flashing includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface and an aperture extending through the flashing. A fastener extends through the flashing aperture. A bracket is connected to the flashing via the fastener, and the bracket is sized to support at least one roof-mounted structure on the roof. A seal is positioned between the flashing aperture and the fastener. The seal is sized to form a water-tight seal with the aperture to inhibit flow of fluid through the aperture. The seal includes a first portion and a second portion, in which the first portion is positioned to abut the flashing first surface and the second portion is positioned to extend through the aperture.

Connecting hanger bolt and connecting hanger bolt installation mechanism

A connecting hanger bolt according to an aspect of the present invention is a hanger bolt which is inserted into a hanging groove rail having an opening narrower than the outer diameter of a bolt head and extending in a hanging groove rail longitudinal direction and from which a device is hangable. The connecting hanger bolt includes: a plurality of bolts which move in the hanging groove rail longitudinal direction in the hanging groove rail and whose shaft portions pass through the opening; and a connecting member which connects the plurality of bolts to each other, and keeps an interval in the hanging groove rail longitudinal direction between the plurality of bolts adjacent to each other.

FASTENING SYSTEM FOR METALLIC CELLULAR FLOORING OF A SHIPPING CONTAINER

A fastening system for a metallic cellular shipping container floor includes a potted insert with a body disposed between a top flange at one end and a bottom flange at another end. The body defines a channel from the top flange leading towards the bottom flange and has a depth not exceeding a distance from the top flange to the bottom flange. The system also includes a hole formed in a panel of a metallic cellular shipping container floor with a depth identical to or greater than a distance from a top portion of the top flange to a bottom portion of the bottom flange. Finally, the system includes a self-tapping screw disposed within the channel of the potted insert, and including a threaded shaft with tip at a distal end of the shaft, and a screw head at a proximal end of the shaft.

FASTENER STRUCTURE

A fastener structure is provided, including a hollow sleeve, a rod body, and a hook assembly. The hollow sleeve is assembled on a first plate, and the rod body is inserted into the hollow sleeve. The hook assembly is rotatably assembled on the first plate, and includes a hook component and an elastic component. The hook component is adapted for being fastened to a positioning opening portion of a second plate, where a first side of the rod body is adapted to lean against the hook component. A first end of the elastic component leans against the first plate, and a second end of the elastic component is fixed on the hook component.

A fastener system shifting shear stresses away from a collet body and provides clamping action to targeted structures. The fastener system includes feet in the collet body that mate with openings in a sleeve at least partially surrounding the collet body. The sleeve or the collet body includes interior threads that engage with a stud that is configured to extend through the collet body and bend the feet such that they project outward from the sleeve openings in an engaged configuration.

Fastener with attached compression limiting sleeve

A fastener system that includes a fastener, a compression-limiting sleeve, and a retainer which generally retains the compression-limiting sleeve on the fastener. By providing that the compression-limiting sleeve is not staked to the fastener, existing technology can be used, and no extra staking processing step needs to be performed. The fastener may comprise a conventional metal threaded screw or bolt, possibly having a recess in its head for receiving a driver. Preferably, the compression-limiting sleeve is cold headed as opposed to being stamped, and preferably includes a counter bore which assures that an end of the retainer is below an end surface of the compression-limiting sleeve. Preferably, the retainer is formed of a thermoplastic elastomer or another suitable material.
