SUDOKU STYLE HYBRID GAME
Systems for operating a Sudoku style hybrid game are disclosed. Sudoku style hybrid games can include a themed entertainment game in which a player places symbols into a Sudoku puzzle and events within the entertainment portion of the Sudoku style entertainment game can trigger wagers in a real world game of chance. Players may compete against each other to determine a winning player based on the amount of time taken to complete the puzzle of the Sudoku style entertainment game. The outcome of the wagers can result in payouts of real world credit and can also affect gameplay within the Sudoku style entertainment game.
Method and apparatus for providing a computer implemented word game
A computer-implemented method of determining game objects to be displayed on a display comprising: causing to be displayed on the display a plurality of selectable game objects comprising tiles stored in at least one memory, each tile having a letter; operating a processor in communication with the at least one memory to cause the tiles to be arranged in a manner enabling a user to select one or more of the tiles in a manner that spells a word, the game board being updatable; and causing the processor to use at least one dictionary stored in the memory to select one or more words to be displayed on the game board, the at least one dictionary comprising a plurality of words of a first type and a plurality of words of a second type, wherein the method comprises the processor causing the tiles to be arranged such that the game board comprises at least one word of the second type.
WORD FORMING GAME AND METHODS TO PLAY THE GAME
A word-forming game and methods to play the game are disclosed. In one implementation, the method includes obtaining a plurality of game pieces amongst which at least one game piece bears a rotatable indicia on a face thereof, wherein the rotatable indicia depicts a different set of one or more letters when viewed from different viewing orientations. The method further includes linearly arranging the game pieces on a gaming surface to form a first word, wherein the first word includes a first set of one or more letters depicted by the rotatable indicia when viewed from a first viewing orientation, and rotating the at least one game piece bearing the rotatable indicia to form a second word different from the first word, wherein the second word includes a second set of one or more letters depicted by the rotatable indicia when viewed from a second viewing orientation.
ELECTRONIC GAME BOARD
An electronic table top game board that includes: an interface area, where the interface area adapts to a predetermined configuration based on user input; player informational displays surrounding the interface area; and a plurality of user interactive devices. The interface area and the plurality of user interactive devices preferably include touch interactive protocol. The electronic table top game board may also include an alternative controller, where the alternative controller includes a joystick and a plurality of control buttons.

Players in turn play these tiles to a game board having a grid pattern of squares. Training Systems and Methods
A field of play may include linearly arranged locations in which a game piece, e.g., representative of a letter, may be played, in an attempt to form words. An example field of play includes a 55 grid formed of squares. Each playable location in the field of play is randomly assigned a unique integer number from 1-n, where n is the total number of playable locations. Each of two or more players use identically shaped fields of play, but having different randomly assigned numbers. Players take turns placing letters in their field of play to form words and, as they do so, the same letter is automatically placed into all opponent's fields of play at the same numbered location, thereby obstructing the opponent's progress in forming his own words in his own field of play. Scoring may be based on the number and length of words formed by each player.

MATHEMATICAL COLORED-NUMBERED PUZZLE BOARD GAME
A game includes numbered tiles and planar game board with a storage grid and a puzzle play grid. The storage grid has a storage grid structure with spaces configured to receive numbered tiles. The puzzle play grid has useable play spaces and unusable play spaces. The play grid structure has a combination of rows of useable play spaces and unusable play spaces. The total number of the numbered tiles is equal to the number of storage spaces and the number of useable play spaces. The numbered tiles are placed on the storage spaces before game play begins. Each numbered tiles is placed on one of the useable play spaces with the difference between the numerical value being greater than a predetermined increment when game play ends. Each of the predetermined numbers on the numbered tiles appears no more than once in each of the rows.
