A clip assembly secures a flexible material to a profile with a receiving channel. An exemplary profile is a pontoon fence rail. The clip assembly includes a clip bracket with a material connecting section and a profile connecting section. The material connecting section has an aperture, and the profile connecting section has a connection tab. A connector includes a shaft and a cap. The shaft is insertable through the flexible material into the aperture of the material connecting section. The connection tab is releasably engageable with the receiving channel with the flexible material sandwiched between the material connecting section and the cap of the connector.

The invention refers to a system for tying and stabilizing a plastic cover film for agricultural crops such as soft fruit covers. Cultivation in covered areas has been particularly developed in recent decades. The state of the art includes glass panes, greenhouses, and special plastic coverings for soft fruit. With the prior art, the placement, fastening and fixing of the plastic film is achieved with ropes or with elastic cords or with soft PVC tubing. However, the cost of binding the plastic film is significant as skilled staff and considerable amounts of man hours are required to tie the plastic film to the supporting structure. Tying the film, in most cases, is carried out by employing knots on simple eyelets or grommets, that the plastic films bear and, respectively, with knots on the wire ropes of the structure.

A magnetic fastener includes a female component and a male component. The female component includes a base, a hooded portion spaced from the base and formed opposite thereto, and a peripheral wall connecting the base to the hooded portion. A pocket is formed between the base and the hooded portion. The hooded portion includes a slot formed therein. A portion of the female component is magnetically attractive. The male component includes an insertion portion and a shaft extending from the insertion portion. A portion of the male component is formed by a magnet. The male component is configured to be coupled to the female component when the magnet is magnetically coupled to the portion of the female component that is magnetically attractive, the insertion portion is received within the pocket, and the shaft is received within the slot.

Some embodiments of the disclosure provide a locking connector and a sheet material. According to an embodiment, the locking connector includes a locking base body. An annular protrusion is arranged at the middle portion of the locking base body while connecting protrusions are arranged on two sides. The two connecting protrusions are symmetrically located on two sides of the annular protrusion. A mounting groove is arranged between the connecting protrusion and the annular protrusion. The connecting protrusions, the mounting grooves, and the annular protrusion are used for clamping the sheet materials. The sheet materials are mounted, enclosed, and locked tightly in a plurality of directions.

A sheets and coverings retaining device is described which includes a top shell with a pressure bar affixed perpendicular to its surface and a bottom shell with a pressure bar affixed perpendicular to its surface wherein a sheet or other covering that is placed between the two shells is retained by the friction of the pressure bars making contact with the upper and lower shells when the shells are closed upon the sheet or covering.

A resilient clip can be used for covers for equipment. The resilient clip has a portion that can be inserted into a channel on the equipment, a portion that can be attached to a cover, and a portion that can be used to remove the clip from the channel.

A pouch comprising first and second rectangular pieces of a first material attached to each other along at a portion of at least three sides to form a first pouch. The pouch further comprises a fastener attached to a first outer side of the first rectangular piece, a fastener attached to a first outer side of the second rectangular piece, and a second pouch of a second material attached inside the first pouch. The second pouch having an opening aligned with at least a portion of an opening of the first pouch and for receiving an item inside.

An apparatus includes a tarpaulin clamp configured to contact the opposite sides of a tarpaulin. The tarpaulin clamp includes a base assembly. The tarpaulin clamp also includes an insert assembly configured to be received in the base assembly. This is done in such a way that the tarpaulin is positioned between the base assembly and the insert assembly.

In a method of attaching a membrane to a composite structure, a base portion of a fastener is affixed to a membrane such that a body portion of the fastener extends from a rear surface of the membrane. The body portion of the fastener is assembled with a retaining structure to secure the rear surface of the membrane against an exterior surface of the retaining structure. A curable composite is deposited against a front surface of the membrane, with the curable composite curing to form a composite structure attached to the front surface of the membrane. A detachment mechanism is operated to separate the body portion of the fastener from the base portion of the fastener, thereby detaching the membrane from the retaining structure.

A method for attaching a first surface to a second surface with a fastening device. The fastening device has a female component having a female opening featuring a broader female width at a first depth and a narrower female width at a second depth. The female component also has a female attachment surface with an interior slope rising away from the female opening. The fastening device also has a male component with a male attachment member that at least partially conforms to the interior slope of the female attachment surface. The male attachment member also has a broader male width larger than the narrower female width. The method comprises mounting the female component to the first surface, mounting the male component to the second surface, aligning the male component to the interior slope on the female component and applying pressure to couple the male component and the female component.
