Tile dispensers and methods of dispensing tiles
A tile dispenser includes a tile chamber in which tiles are shuffleable and a gate element. The gate element is moveable between a closed position in which the gate element is loadable with one or more tiles coming from the tile chamber and an open position for dispensing any tiles that have been loaded into the gate element. A method of using the tile dispenser includes placing a plurality of tiles into the tile chamber in which the plurality of tiles are shuffleable and loading a predetermined number of the plurality of tiles into the gate element when the gate element is in the closed position. A method of manufacturing the tile dispenser includes providing the tile chamber, and providing the gate element in a location such that the gate element is loadable with one or more tiles coming from the tile chamber when in the closed position.
AUTOMATED GAME MODIFICATION BASED ON PLAYING STYLE
A system, a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method to modify a game based on playing style is provided. Player-specific playing style information that indicates one or more attributes of a playing style of a player is accessed. The playing style information is based on gameplay behavior of the player. Game parameters that defines at least some aspects of a game level forming part of the game is accessed. In an automated operation one or more of the game parameters are modified, thereby a difficulty of the game level for the player based on the one or more playing style attributes is modified. The modified game parameters are caused to be presented on a client device associated with the player of the game level.
Multi-Player Crosswords Game
A timed word game played on a game board. Words are formed from a predetermined set of alphabet letter tiles, including wild tiles exchangeable for alphabet letters. The exact same set of tiles (level playing field) is provided to each player playing the DAILY CHALLENGE. Thus, the DAILY CHALLENGE competition is based solely on skill. Each tile has a value of 1, 2 or 3, indicated by color. Words may stand alone or be intersecting. A total score is determined from word cumulative tile value with a deduction for misspelled words. Higher point words receive bonus points. The tile set may have multiple tiles of the same letter, with the same or different values. A total score is displayed at games end, the words made and respective scores may be viewed and/or printed. Top scores for each day's DAILY CHALLENGE are published.

The invention relates to devices and methods designed to promote speech and language development and, in particular, learning upper and lower case letters, shapes, colors, numbers and phonemes to improve articulation. Phonemes, which form one of the basic building blocks of speech, are distinguishing speech sounds that differentiate one word from another, e.g. the sounds d and t in the words bid and bit and are the smallest phonetic units that can carry meaning.
Three dimensional letters word game components and game methods of play
A game apparatus and game methods of play that provide mental exercises to increase the level of abstract thinking to create 3-D objects from universally accepted 2-D flat patterns. Since we read and write on 2-D surfaces, the shapes we associate most with a 2-D environment are alphanumeric characters. Word Game
A word game played among players includes a series of word challenges having at least one round. A first round includes randomly selecting a first and a last letter, each player attempting to generate a valid word that begins with the first letter and ends with the last letter, and awarding points to each player based on a length of the corresponding valid words and a default value per letter of the valid words. A bonus round may include randomly selecting an intermediate letter, each player attempting to generate a valid bonus word that includes the first, last, and intermediate letters, awarding points to each player based at least on a length of the corresponding valid bonus words and a default value per letter of the valid bonus words, and resetting all points awarded in the word challenge for each player that fails to generate a valid bonus word.

Digitial multilingual word building game
The word building games system, apparatus, carrier, method, and process provides a plurality of characters comprising at least a first language and a second or different language. The characters of the first language and the characters of the second or different language are used non-simultaneously. A playing environment comprises a plurality of character areas. New and unique puzzle mechanics, systems, and methods are described herein. A puzzle grid comprising linearly arranged intersecting words, with each individual letter placed on a separate puzzle tile, may be divided into a plurality of puzzle pieces, where each puzzle piece is formed of one or more contiguous puzzle tiles. Each puzzle piece shape conforms to one of a predefined set of shapes. To mix up the puzzle grid, identically shaped puzzle pieces may be randomly shuffled and rotated if required so that the puzzle layout remains unchanged whereas the letters are scrambled. Also puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry may be optionally rotated within the puzzle layout. Letters may maintain upright legibility. A user may then attempt to solve the puzzle by swapping identically shaped puzzle pieces and optionally rotating puzzle pieces whose shape exhibit rotational symmetry.
