TELESCOPICALLY ASSEMBLED MECHANICAL CONNECTOR
A mechanical connector, including a telescopically assembled, Merlin™ Family Connector is provided with one or more sets of threads on substantially matching frustoconical surfaces of a pin and a box of the connector. Strengthening means are introduced involving at least one of: a mechanical stiffening arrangement on an outside surface of the box or a mechanical stiffening arrangement on an inside surface of the pin. The strengthening means provided may involve systems of arbitrarily oriented ribs and/or fairing surfaces. The mechanical stiffening arrangements may be integral with the box or the pin, or they can be separate external/internal strengthening arrangements, as applicable. They can be also essentially annular clamps that would have relatively regular shapes essentially conforming to the external or internal surfaces of the box or the pin, respectively. The above modifications can be introduced to traditional connectors and to connectors designed to transfer high torsional loads.
COMPRESSION POST WITH RETAINER CLIP
A retainer clip for a compression post includes a retainer body defining a first lateral body end, a second lateral body end opposite the first lateral end, a retainer opening formed through the retainer body and positioned between the first and second lateral body ends, and a retainer tab extending into the retainer opening; and a substantially J-shaped ledge grip extending from the first lateral body end, the ledge grip defining a curved portion and a planar portion, the curved portion coupled to the first lateral body end, the planar portion extending from the curved portion distal to the first lateral body end, the planar portion extending beneath the retainer body.
Ladders, ladder components and related methods
Ladders, ladder components and related methods are provided. In some embodiments, adjustable stepladders are provided which include locking mechanisms that enable height adjustment of the ladder through application of a force towards the rails of the ladder. In other embodiments, spreader mechanisms are provided with cross bracing located and configured to provide additional stability to the ladder while also incorporating a handle that enables efficient collapsing of the ladder while reducing the potential of pinching ones hands or fingers. In another embodiment, a device is provided for selective coupling with the ladder that includes a support or safety rail and an adjustable tray. The device may be coupled with the ladder in a number of different positions including a stowed position. In another embodiment, a hinge assembly is provided having a magnetic component configured to be magnetically coupled with and temporarily store an object on the ladder.
Retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system
A retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system for that is extended outwardly from the wall when in use and retracted towards the wall when not in use. The retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system generally includes a mounting bracket adapted to be attached to a wall, a bench pivotally connected to the mounting bracket that has an extended position and a retracted position, a first support member pivotally attached to the bench and a second support member pivotally attached to the bench. The first surface of the bench is horizontal or inclined when in the extended position to be used as a weightlifting bench. The first surface of the bench is in a substantially vertical position when in the retracted position for compact storage of the bench near the wall.
SYSTEM WITH VERTICALLY ADJUSTABLE TELESCOPING POLE ASSEMBLY AND CRAMP BRAKE MECHANISM
A system with a vertically adjustable telescoping pole assembly and cramp brake mechanism includes a telescoping pole assembly with at least an outer pole and an inner pole. The pole assembly is movable bi-directionally between a closed position and an extended position. The cramp brake mechanism has a body that is secured to the outer pole of the pole assembly, and also includes a brake that releases while the pole assembly is moved to the extended position and engages when the assembly is not being moved.
CONVERTIBLE SECURITY APPARATUS
A security apparatus includes an anchoring member removably coupled to a display surface and defining a cavity with one or more securing elements positioned in the cavity. It further includes a security assembly removably coupled to the anchoring member and comprising a guide with one or more securing element engagement members, a first extension assembly, and a second extension assembly. The first extension assembly moveably coupled to the guide and includes a lock configured to be moved between a locked state and an unlocked state, and the second extension assembly is coupled to the guide. The security assembly is at least partially received in the cavity and the one or more securing elements interact with the one or more securing element engagement members to releasably couple the security assembly to the anchoring member.
Ceiling fan motor adapter
A motor adapter assembly can couple a motor shaft for a ceiling fan motor to a downrod. The motor adapter assembly can include a base plate, a cradle with arms extending through the base plate, and a threaded bushing secured between the arms of the cradle. Threading a cap to the threaded bushing can be used to pivot the downrod between an upright position and a pivoted position.
Mounting assembly
A mounting assembly includes a mounting block. A first shaft is supported by the mounting block and movable about a first rotational axis and a first extension axis with respect to the mounting block. A second shaft is coupled to the first shaft and movable about a second rotational axis.
Dual rod positioning structure
A dual rod positioning structure, for connecting and fixing two single rods sleeved on or inserted into one another, includes positioning holes respectively located on rod bodies of the two single rods and a positioning seat capable of being engagedly fixed to the positioning holes and sleeved on the single rods. The positioning holes are arranged on two adjacent sidewalls of the single rods. Inserted into the positioning seat are a positioning element selectively engaged in the positioning holes, a spring, a positioning pin and an outward protruding button. The positioning structure overall is structurally simple, convenient to assemble, and stable in terms of positioning.
PART FASTENING STRUCTURE AND MOUNTING TOOL
A part fastening structure fastens a part, using a bolt and a nut. The bolt includes a first spiral groove, a second spiral groove provided on a tip end side of the bolt with respect to the first spiral groove, a slit extending from a tip end of the bolt to the first spiral groove through the second spiral groove, and a loosening suppression groove extending from another end of the second spiral groove to the tip end side. The nut includes: a first nut member including a first pin protruding toward a central axis side and inserted into the first spiral groove; a second nut member including a second pin protruding toward the central axis side and inserted into the second spiral groove; and an urging member disposed between the first and second nut members and that urges the first nut member toward a head portion of the bolt.
