The wall-mountable accessory may be a robe hook, a towel bar, a grab bar, a toilet paper holder, a ledge, or the like. The wall-mountable accessory may include a solid body that is at least partially formed from a brittle material. The solid body may have a hole that extends to an opening in its outer surface. The wall-mountable accessory may also include a mounting assembly for mounting the solid body to a wall. The mounting assembly may include a standoff configured to be coupled to the wall and a fastening pin that is coupled to the standoff and has a portion that nests within the hole in the solid body. The mounting assembly may apply a compressive force onto the solid body to prevent fracture.
Structural Fastener Including Coupler for Threaded Rod
A structural fastener includes a threaded rod coupler. The threaded rod coupler includes a split nut for coupling to the threaded rod.
Wire rope termination and tensioning for cable railing
A cable gripping and tensioning apparatus is provided for attaching a cable to an anchor point such as a wooden post as part of a cable railing system. In one form, the apparatus includes a tubular component and a ferrule. The tubular component includes external threads to engage the wall of a hole in the post, an internal axial bore through which a cable may pass, a first end which may engage a wrench to rotate the tubular component and a second end which may provide a thrust bearing surface. The ferrule is swaged to an end portion of the cable. The ferrule provides a thrust bearing surface for contact with the second end of the tubular component, allowing for the rotation of the tubular component to tension the cable while the cable does not rotate.
MULTIDIRECTIONALLY-ENGAGEABLE COLUMN COMBINATION STRUCTURE
A multi-directionally engageable column combination structure comprising a column, a first hook body, and a second hook body. The column is in a straight cylindrical shape and has an outer circular surface and two end faces. A plurality of axial combination grooves are disposed at the outer circular surface, and the combination groove has an opening, a first catching groove and a second catching groove; a front end of the first hook body has a first hook portion, a rear end of the first hook portion has a first engaging portion, a front end of the first hook portion has a first hook pillar, a first hook edge is disposed at a front end of the first hook pillar, an abutting edge is disposed at a position that is on the first hook portion and corresponds to the outer circular surface of the column; a side of the first engaging portion has a first engaging surface, and a first combination hole is disposed on the first engaging surface; a front end of the second hook body has a second hook portion, a rear end of the second hook portion has a second engaging portion, a front end of the second hook portion has a second hook pillar, a second hook edge is disposed at a front end of the second hook pillar, a side of the second engaging portion has a second engaging surface attached against the first engaging surface, and a second combination hole is disposed, the first and second hook edges of the first and second hook bodies hook the first and second catching grooves respectively, and then engaging elements are inserted into the first and second combination holes for combination. Thus, better assembly convenience and stability are achieved in the present application.
COMBINED ANCHOR AND FASTENER ASSEMBLY ESPECIALLY INTENDED FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES AND METHOD EMPLOYING SAME
A combined anchor and fastener that includes an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface and at least one throughbore extending from the top surface to the bottom surface thereof. An elongated post is coupled to the anchor baseplate having a first end and a second end and an at least partially threaded, internal cylindrical bore for receipt therein of a mechanical fastener. The bore extends from the first end of the post towards the second end thereof with said post internal bore being in alignment and registry with the anchor baseplate throughbore. The post has a second end portion depending from said bottom surface of said anchor baseplate. The bottom surface of the anchor baseplate is configured to allow at least a portion of the concrete structure to abut and lie generally flush thereagainst except for the area of said bottom surface thereof which is covered by the post. An anchor is provided for anchoring the anchor baseplate to a concrete structure. A method of anchoring and fastening an object to a concrete structure is also disclosed.
ANCHOR PLATFORM ASSEMBLY WITH ANGELED BASEPLATE
An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a structure, especially intended for mounting the object on an inside or outside corner of a support structure mounted on a roof, includes an anchor baseplate having a first sidewall and second sidewall disposed at an angle to the first sidewall, each having a surface and second surface, an elongated post coupled to the first sidewall of the baseplate and projecting outwardly from the first surface thereof. The post has a first end secured to the first sidewall of the anchor baseplate, a second free end, and an at least partially threaded, cylindrical blind bore extending from the first surface of the first sidewall of the anchor baseplate into the post, with the second surface of the anchor baseplate being configured to allow the structure to lie generally flush against the second surface of the first sidewall except for the area of the second surface covered by the post. A cylindrical mechanical fastener having a straight thread is used for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via the blind bore. A multiple post stud anchor platform assembly is also disclosed.
HANDLE WITH FASTENING PORTION
A handle with a fastening portion includes a body and a second fastening portion. The second fastening portion is provided on one end of the body, and includes a neck configured to be receivingly fastened into, assembled into or fitted with a coupling counterpart. Thus, the handle may be assembled with a coupling counterpart when in use, and the handle may be removed from the coupling counterpart when not in use, achieving effects of easy operation and collision prevention.
Decorative element display system
The present display system enables the display and rearrangement of one or more decorative elements on a base structure to create a decorative arrangement that can be easily and selectively adjusted to move or rotate the decorative elements. The display system generally comprises an attachment assembly mounted on a base structure and supporting a decorative element support. An angular adjustment lock and a lateral adjustment lock permits the decorative element support to rotate and translate relative to the base structure.
