BUSHING ASSEMBLY FOR TUBULAR STRUCTURES AND A SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING A TUBULAR STRUCTURE TO A MOUNTING STRUCTURE INCORPORATING THE SAME
A bushing assembly for tubular structures is disclosed. The bushing assembly includes a body having a substantially flat configuration and defining a planar surface and an outer edge; and a plurality of projections extending from the outer edge and traverse to the planar surface, each projection defining a longitudinal axis, each projection including at least one ridge extending at least partially along a surface of the projection and along the longitudinal axis.
Methods of mounting container support bodies, systems, kits, assemblies, and apparatuses including same, and uses of same
There is disclosed a method of mounting a container support body to a mounting body, the method comprising: threadedly coupling a first threaded portion of a fastener to the mounting body; and coupling an end portion of the fastener to the container support body in an opening defined by the container support body. There is also disclosed a container support apparatus comprising a container support body comprising: a structural body comprising a structural material; and a frictional body on the structural body and comprising a frictional material different from the structural material; wherein the frictional material defines a frictional support surface extending substantially along an entire length of the container support body. Other methods, other apparatuses, and systems, kits, assemblies, and uses are also disclosed.
Vehicular body assembly locking apparatus and method
A vehicle body positioning and locking devices for use in assembling a vehicle body positioned on a movable vehicle support positioned at a vehicle build station. The locking device includes a remote vehicle locking device for selectively securing and locking a vehicle body to a support pallet. The support pallet is accurately and precisely positioned at a build station through alignment and inserting engagement of locating pads in at least one four-way and at least one two way receiver mounted to a build station foundation. A compliant body clamp design is included to provide a desired clamping force between the pallet and a vehicle body across a range of motion of the body clamp to accommodate vehicle build variances.
COMBINATION STRUCTURE OF BASE MEMBER AND ERECT MEMBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A combination structure for a base member and an erect member, and a manufacturing method thereof, are disclosed. The combination structure includes a base member comprising a slot and a through hole in communications with the slot. An erect member is inserted into the slot, and a combining member detachably engages with the through hole. The combining member thereby fixedly positions the erect member in the slot when the combining member is joined to the through hole.
Aircraft structural component that is adapted for absorbing and transmitting forces in an aircraft
An aircraft structural component that is adapted for absorbing and transmitting forces in an aircraft, the aircraft structural component comprising at least one panel element and at least one reinforcing structure. The at least one reinforcing structure is rigidly attached to the at least one panel element such that at least one cavity is defined between the at least one panel element and the at least one reinforcing structure, the at least one cavity being adapted for distributing forces that are absorbed by the aircraft structural component in operation.
ANCHOR PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a raised, generally flat roof-like structure, has an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface, and an internally threaded blindbore extending at least partially from the top surface generally towards the bottom surface and fasteners for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via its blindbore, and for fastening the anchor baseplate to a top surface of a roof-like structure. The assembly is especially intended for supporting, e.g., glass railings on balconies, terraces and flat roofs and for mounted solar panels on both flat and pitched roofs which provides strength and affords watertight performance.
Elevator handrail supporting device
The present invention relates to an elevator handrail supporting device including: a fixing plate assembly 20 and a bracket 50 coupled to the fixing plate assembly, in which the bracket includes T-nut guides 60, a T-nut 70 coupled to the T-nut guides, a stopper 80 being in contact with a bolt head, a bolt support 90, and a catching projection 96, and when the bracket 50 is fitted with the fixing plate assembly 20 coupled to a handrail 10, a stepped portion 94 of the catching projection 96 is engaged with and coupled to a catching hole 24, a bolt is fitted into a fastening hole 22, and then the bolt is tightened into a threaded hole 76 of the T-nut 70, the fixing plate assembly 20 is bent downward by elasticity so as to apply an upward force to the handrail 10.
RETAINING NUT
The invention relates to a retaining nut (1) for a threaded cable connection which is provided for special installation situations. Here, a subsequent assembly of the retaining nut on a cable (60) with an integrated cable sleeve (70) is not possible. According to the invention, the retaining nut (1) has a two-part construction comprising a main part (10) and a ring (15). By virtue of the two-part retaining nut (1), it is possible to arrange the ring (15) on the cable (60) behind the cable sleeve (70) at an earlier point in time in the assembly process. In this manner, the assembly of the cable (60) with the cable sleeve (70) and the ring (15) is ensured and a subsequent connection of the main part (10) and the ring (15) is made possible.
BOTTLE RACK
A bottle rack includes a panel that has a front surface and an opposing back surface, and support bars cantilevered from the panel and extending from the front surface. Each of the support bars has a linear bottle supporting portion that is positioned, and that is at an acute angle, relative to the front surface such that at least two of the support bars can support a bottle while forcing the bottle against the front surface. The rack may be a label forward rack. Additionally, the various joints, grooves, and slots used to join the support bars to the panel may also be used to join any the support bars and panels of any suitable bottle rack.
