Fastening device, fastening system and furniture assembly
A fastening device (2;20) for assembling panels (170;180) in furniture, the device (2;20) having an axial extension along an axial direction and a lateral extension along a lateral direction, said device (2;20) comprising an upper part (4;40), and a lower part (5;50) a circumferential extending peripheral surface (10;110), the device (2;20) having an axially extending through passage (8;80) for the insertion of a pin the in the axial direction, wherein the fastening device (2;20) comprises elements for taking up forces along both the axial and lateral direction.
Screwless chair
Present invention teaches a screwless chair where the unassembled product can come in a flat package, reducing the size of storage and adding to the ease of transportation. No screws are needed for the chair of present invention; no tools are needed for the assembly/disassembly when a user unfolds the seat back from the seat base, slides the hook pieces along the groove pieces and set the seat back down by setting the insertion pegs to the corresponding insertion holes. Errors in setting up the chair can be avoided. The ease of setting up, and thus the sturdiness and the safety of the chair, is not affected by repeated disassembly/re-assembly.
CONFIGURABLE STACKING CHAIRS WITH QUICK-CONNECT INTERCHANGEABLE BACKS
The present disclosure relates to configurable stacking chairs having a standard seat base frame design to which different interchangeable seat backs can be quickly and easily attached. The seat base frames and the interchangeable seat backs may include corresponding quick-connect features that allow selective attachment therebetween. The interchangeable seat backs may be attached to a standard seat base frame via a magnetic connection. Each interchangeable seat back can have a different unique design allowing for a quick change of appearance by exchanging one interchangeable seat back design for another. The interchangeable seat backs and the standard seat base frames can be stored separately and take up less space than completely assembled or fixed back chairs.
Flexible bracket for joint structure assembly
A flexible bracket for forming a joint assembly between two furniture members includes a fastener head seat, a first arm extending laterally of the fastener head seat in a first direction and a second arm extending laterally of the fastener head seat in a second direction. The first and second arms each have valley portions adjacent the fastener head seat and distal portions laterally outward of the valley portions. The valley portions are disposed below the plane of the fastener head seat while distal portions are disposed above the fastener head seat. The flexible bracket also includes a slotted aperture having a head receiving portion and a slot portion, the slot portion dimensioned to enable a head of a headed fastener to slide within the slot portion from the fastener head receiving portion to the fastener head seat without disengaging the slot portion. The first arm valley portion impedes the head of the headed fastener from exiting the fastener head seat.
MALE PIN AND FEMALE HOUSING ASSEMBLY FOR THE AXIAL FITTING OF SHELVES TO ANGULAR, UNDULATING AND VARIABLE-GEOMETRY WALLS OF DISPLAY STANDS
For the universal coupling of shelves (PR) that can be attached to display stands (D), using a single male pin assembly, one of the pins being in the form of a rod (6) and the other pin being in the form of a ball (13). Upon the axial lowering of the shelf (PR), the pins (6) or (13), secured to the sides of the front edge thereof, always reach the corresponding eye (11) or cup (14) of the female housing, which is in turn secured to the side wall (PA) of the display stand (D). According to the design, since the female housing can be secured at any angle, there is no need to stock pins with a coupling end configured for each desired geometry, it being sufficient to manufacture said pins (6) and (13) providing a universal coupling between the shelf (PR) and the display stand (D).
CONNECTION ARRANGEMENTS, DOWEL AND FURNITURE
A connection arrangement for connecting a first furniture part (10) to a second furniture part (20), wherein the first furniture part (10) comprises: a dowel (11) and one or more abutment surfaces (13) extending circumferentially (C) around or being distributed circumferentially (C) around the dowel (11), wherein the second furniture part (20) comprises: a through-going opening (22) extending through a wall (21) and one or more abutment surfaces (23) extending circumferentially (C) around or being distributed circumferentially (C) around the through-going opening (22), wherein the connection arrangement further comprises a connection member (30) having a recess (31), the recess (31) having a locking portion (31b) being configured to receive the dowel (11) by a relative motion between the connection member (30) and the first furniture part (10) in a direction transverse (T) to the longitudinal direction (L) and being configured to interact with the neck portion (11b) of the dowel (11) to counteract removal of the dowel (11) from the locking portion (31b) along the longitudinal direction (L).
The interchangeable seat backs and the standard seat base frames can be stored separately and take up less space than completely assembled or fixed back chairs.
DOUBLING-UP FITTING AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY HAVING TWO DOUBLED-UP PLATES
A doubling-up fitting includes an expansion sleeve which has a sleeve base with a sleeve base opening and has at least one expansion tab which can be spread radially outward. An inner ring is axially displaceable in the expansion sleeve towards the sleeve base in a tightening direction in order to spread the at least one expansion tab radially outward. A threaded bolt with a screw thread and with a bolt head engages behind the inner ring in the tightening direction. A threaded part has a widened head and can be screwed to the screw thread of the threaded bolt. The opening diameter of the sleeve base opening and the clear opening diameter of the inner ring are each greater than the bolt diameter of the threaded bolt.
Screwless Chair
Present invention teaches a screwless chair where the unassembled product can come in a flat package, reducing the size of storage and adding to the ease of transportation. No screws are needed for the chair of present invention; no tools are needed for the assembly/disassembly when a user unfolds the seat back from the seat base, slides the hook pieces along the groove pieces and set the seat back down by inserting the protrusion pieces to the corresponding receiving tubes; the locking tabs on the protrusion pieces provide the locking function when inserting into the receiving tubes. Errors in setting up the chair can be avoided. The ease of setting up, and thus the sturdiness and the safety of the chair, is not affected by repeated disassembly/re-assembly.
